Andie 6 Years 2 Months

Andie Noelle what a fun adventurous month you have had. You are six years two months old already and I am in pure shock, my goodness your life seems to be passing by so quickly. I honestly don't know how this is happening! Andie at 6 years 2 months old...

1. Andie got the biggest surprise. Andie went to a Dinosaur playground in St. George complete with a splash pad and had the time of her life, she never wanted to leave. The only way we were even able to have her leave was when we surprised her with a week long family vacation to Disneyland. Yes you got an awesome day at a splash pad that we will have to head back too someday, then a surprise vacation.

2. Andie went to Disneyland. Andie has been to Disneyland I think basically every year of her life thus far, some years more than once. Your favorite ride by far this go around was Peter Pan and you had us go on it each day we were in the park. Other favorites were Toy Story Mania, Maters Jamboree, Goofys Sky School, Tiki Room and of course don't forget the parades that are always a top favorite. Disneyland always has a special place in your heart!

3. Andie says the darnedest things. Andie is getting to smart for her own good and with this smart brain of hers comes amazing statements such as when we were driving on our road trip. We swayed a few times on the freeway and went over the rumble strips. Andie asked what those noises were. I told her it was to make sure that drivers stayed awake. With mouth dropping open she spoke very seriously, "well that's mean." haha. Oh silly girl.

Another funny thing Andie stated before we started on the road trip was when Jake was holding on my long packing list. I had just finished marking just about everything off. Jake then crumpled up my paper and Andie very horrified told Jake in a stern voice, "Jake, now you broke Mom's imagination" haha oh boy!

One last funny thing Andie said this month was when driving through Las Vegas she would call it the "Bad Guy World" and say "Wow there is a lot of alcohol houses here" haha these kids are cracking me up with the fear of Las Vegas.

4. Andie lost another tooth. Andie my goodness girl how many teeth have you lost now? If you lose to many more then you will have known left to eat with! Andie lost this tooth in the hotel one night while on our vacation. Of course it wasn't just any night it had to be a night to remember. It was the night that Jake gave us the scare of a life time.

5. Andie was so worried when we lost Jake at beach. Andie is at the age that she understands when we lost Jake at the beach. He went off on his own when we were on the playground back to the beach. Andie was worried sick, along with her parents, as the police and everyone were out looking for her brother that she may never see again. Of course when Jake was found Andie had her turn to tell Jake never to run off again to the ocean because he could get lost forever and be eaten by a shark. Andie besides losing her brother though did love the beach covering herself in sand and playing in the water as long as we didn't go to far in because with the shark comment, she didn't want to get eaten by a shark. Collecting seashells was also an all time favorite!

6. Andie got her first face painting. Andie wanted to do the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique really badly but we knew that if we did one child we would have to do them all and that would be one expensive family event. So we all agreed on face painting. Andie loved being able to pick her own face painting. I think this face painting might be a new tradition because it was that much fun! Andie loved showing off her face in all the lines the rest of the day at the park and wished it would of never washed off the rest of her life I am sure of it.

7. Andie got her finger bump fixed. Andie's darn bump on her finger. I don't know why she has that darn thing and I wish it would go away for good because I hate having to see my girl in pain getting it fixed all the time. Andie handles each freeze like a champ. Andie hopefully this bump won't be a lifelong worry for you, I am sorry.

8. Andie is dying for a YouTube channel. Andie for as long as she can probably remember has been wanting a YouTube channel of her own. Maybe one day I will give in to her practice videos and post some online but until then I will just save these collections for my own entertainment. I love her imagination and dream of having her own channel one day.

9. Andie held a butterfly. Andie was so excited to hold a butterfly. At the aquarium they have a new exhibit where you can hold a butterfly and Andie was so excited to be able to do this. Of course Andie was nervous at first but once she knew she could do this with confidence oh the joy across this girls face.

Andie never lose your joy and hope on life. You have an outlook on life to really live for the adventure always looking for the positive. You dream such big dreams and I want them all to come true for you. Andie you are such an amazing, miraculous girl and watching you enjoy and love our family vacation this month meant the world to your Father and I. We want to give you the world, I love you my Andie. Always and Forever!

Andie 6 Years 1 Month

Andie Noelle just like that you are off into your seventh year of life and I don't know how that is even possible. Andie you bring such a joy into our life with your excitement, joy, laughter and outlook on life itself. You truly are such a special little girl. Andie at 6 years 1 month old...

1. Andie got a new Aunt. Andie has loved Mikayla since the moment she met her. So when we heard of Uncle Dallin's engagement we were over the moon. It also helps that Aunt Mikayla and Andie have the same birthday so that is a fun fact. Andie loved being able to see princess Mikayla in her white dress and is ecstatic she is officially now family!

2. Andie had her last month of swim lessons. Andie has been doing swim lessons since forever it seems, January I think. Andie has loved learning how to be comfortable in the water and of course the start of her strokes. Andie has done exceptionally well at what she has been able to learn but Mom needs a break and Andie wants to play with her new skills so we will place a pause on lessons for a bit.

3. Andie loves free lunches. Each summer I get so excited about the free lunch opportunities in the city parks. It is such a fun event you can go to daily, play at the parks, eat food and make lots of new friends. This summer was no different and we enjoy this so much. Andie's favorite food to get at free lunch is of course the fruit and the uncrustables or corn dogs.

4. Andie lost her first tooth. How? Andie is definitely growing up far to quickly on her parents. Andie has had a loose tooth for sometime now she finally one morning while sitting on the couch watching her iPad decided to see how high the tooth could lift up. Well apparently it lifted up too high, right out of her mouth haha. Andie was ecstatic and before she placed the tooth under her pillow of course said her goodbyes and stated it was her favorite tooth in her whole mouth, silly girl! The tooth fairy came and brought her a gold coin, fun times, plus she got her first library card woot woot!

5. Andie had her year checkup at the doctor. Andie is as healthy as a horse, is that still a saying? Andie is perfectly growing and the only problem was the darn bump on her finger. We will be getting that fixed in the next month or two. Andie you my girl are perfect and I knew that before the doctor gave a clean bill of health haha ;) Andie is growing tall and is 3'10".

6. Andie has been getting along well with Jake. Now if you know Andie she can't even stand next to her brother because she is in the stage of cooties and such. Of course I think school has associated a lot with Andie's attitudes against boys and poor Jake has done nothing. Now that it is summer Andie doesn't have her friend influences and actually has been having so much fun with Jake just like old times. I love watching my kiddos getting along and playing the best they can together. I hope this never ends, especially when school starts up again.

7. Andie is obsessed with Violet (from The Incredibles) and JoJo Siwa. When we went on our family day and watched Incredibles 2, Andie became obsessed with Violet. Of course if you ask a favorite super hero of Andie's she will say Violet. Also the times Andie is on her iPad she is of course watching a girl named JoJo Siwa. Any mom with a little girl in this day in time will know that JoJo Siwa is the thing with her big bows and all. Andie has asked for one thing when school starts up again and that is some giant bows for her hair haha. Until then she will have to settle for a new toothbrush that sings Boomerang from JoJo (or at least Daddy told her it was).

8. Andie likes making PB + J Sandwiches. These sandwiches Andie makes are no ordinary sandwich. In fact Mom can't even make them because the way I like them, just jam and peanut butter, is the wrong way to make them. Andie has to use two kinds of jelly (grape and strawberry) she will then have to add nutella mixed with peanut butter of course. So there is a simple PB + J sandwich with four ingredients and Andie LOVES them so much, she makes and eats them daily.

9. Andie wants to go into gymnastics SO BADLY! Andie asks me daily if she can do gymnastics and each and everyday I feel like a horrible mother because we can't afford to send Andie to gymnastics even though I totally want too. Andie has taken things into her own hands by learning to roll down the hill at free lunch, she loved it but of course got dizzy. Andie also has been trying to teach herself how to do handstands by putting her feet up on the wall. Practice makes perfect right. I am so proud of my girl for taking things into her own hands and I know that we will get her into gymnastics as soon as finances allow. I love you!

Andie you my girl are a complete joy. You have a love for all things girly and I would have it no other way. When we first chose your name I knew that if I named my little girl Andie you would be a girly girl and to see that play out is amazing. You are determined to accomplish all you can even if it means making things do with what you have. You my girl are the best thing to happen to your Mom and Dad. I wanted to be a Mom so badly and after almost a year of trying you brought healing to my heart. I love you my Andie Noelle, always and forever!

Andie 6 Years

Andie Noelle you my girl are growing up so quickly, like wow! I have blinked and the time just seemed to fly right by. I don't know how I have such a big girl to raise especially such a beautiful determined girl at that! Andie at six years old...

1. Andie had a Descendants Birthday. The birthday theme for turning six was up in the air and a long story but we really had a mixed Descendants and Disney Zombies birthday. This girl wasn't disappointed by any means though, she loved every detail! I love you my girl and will try to give you anything possible.

2. Andie loves Disney Zombies. Andie has been expanding her likes beyond the Disney princesses from quite sometime now, even though Ariel I think will always have a special place in this girls heart. I love that Disney has some great clean shows that my young girl loves. Addison and Zed are a favorite in this house and if only they had more products out in stores Andie would have them all.

2. Andie graduated Kindergarten. Andie you have passed two whole years of school already and your so excited to be entering Grade One so soon. Andie has a love for learning and having such great friends and teachers I am sure that has helped. Andie enjoyed every moment of Kindergarten and I am such a proud Mom to know that she graduated with high honors. I still am sad I missed the graduation and I hope that never happens again. I love you my Andie.

3. Andie learned how to braid plus curly hair is a love. The nice thing about Aunts is sometimes they know more about hair then say your Mom does haha. Andie was so excited for her Aunt Emmalee to teach her how to braid hair and is now constantly asking anyone with long hair if she can braid theirs. Andie also since she has been hair crazy wanted to curl her hair just like Moms. I finally told her there is something called a curling iron and you begged to get one. We went to Walmart and got the cheapest curling iron we could possibly get but I think Mom needs a bit more practice as I have never used a curling iron before.

4. Andie got a cavity filled. Poor Andie got her Mothers bad enamel, sorry girl! Andie had a small cavity at her six month dental checkup so we had that fixed this month. This time around since it was just one small filling she got the laughing gas experience and handled it like a champ, or shall I say a rockstar. Andie always states she wants to be a rockstar and on laughing gas she sure lived out her dream. Andie was trying to sing and dance through the whole procedure. Mom was laying on your legs while trying to hold down your hands and we had to remind you over and over again that you weren't able to sing while your mouth was being worked on. My happy, loving, outgoing girl!

5. Andie built a car at the Home Depot kids workshop. Andie was so excited to go and do a craft at Home Depot even if it was just building a wooden car. Andie did everything complete with hammering in the nails, choosing her paint job and placing the stickers. As soon as Andie finished her car she was ready to make another. I think that Home Depot crafts will be a monthly occurrence.

6. Andie said goodbye to Toys R Us. The best toy store in the world us now going to be closing forever and we are all so sad about it. Andie has been pretty sad about it so of course we had to make a last family trip. Andie enjoyed being able to fill a cart one last time of things on her wish list. Christmas will be interesting this year without a toy store, sad day.

7. Andie is funny. I love that our kids have such an awesome fun outlook on life and the humor definitely makes life way more enjoyable. Andie is so funny and she has stated a few things I was able to remember this past month.

I made a plan stating items that I would like Andie to complete, such as finishing her dinner, then we could change and color or do something else. Andie then states while mad about having to eat her dinner, "That's not a plan that is a wishlist." HAHA.

We were trying to figure out a game on Andie's iPad and I just couldn't seem to pass a level. I told Andie she would have to wait for Daddy to pass the level because Dad is good at video games. Andie then states, "Yeah Daddy is so strong and healthy he can do anything." HAHA I love it!

8. Andie is still in swim lessons. Andie is loving being in swim lessons and is getting way to confident for my liking haha. Andie is starting to think of lessons as more of a play session then a learning session. All Andie wants to do is dive to the bottom of the pool. I am so proud of her confidence and maybe we will pull her out for a little in the next couple months just so she can enjoy the skills she has learned before doing more.

9. Andie loves her long tail cat souvenir. When Mom and Dad went on our vacation last month we got Andie a long tailed Marie cat from Disneyland. Andie loves it! This cat who she has named Raja is a member of the family at this point. My only worry is, why does it have to be white? HAHA.

Andie Noelle you my girl are growing up far to quickly and need to really stop that. You have so much lying ahead for you in your future and I know it will be grand. I know you will accomplish so much and with your determination and love of life I am excited to be on this journey with you. I love you my girl, always and forever!

Andie 6th Birthday

I blinked and now my little Andie Noelle, my five pound little girl, is now SIX YEARS OLD! How in the world is time passing by so quickly? I blinked and now I have a girl going into first grade in the fall. Wow!

For Andie's birthday this year she really wanted a Descendants Mal Birthday until VERY last minute she wanted a Disney Zombie's movie. Um why do children have to torture their parents like this? All we want is to just to give our children everything they could ever dream of and when it was this last minute and there is literally ZERO Zombie decorations I was basically set up for failure. I was SO WORRIED to disappoint my little girl!

Andie woke up her golden birthday morning ecstatic and I don't even know why I worried in the first place. Andie loved her birthday and one of the first things she saw walking into the family room was a piñata, she has always wanted one. Andie loved her new purple bike (her favorite color because of Mal). Andie also enjoyed her pink birthday dress and of course her Mal jacket complete with the wigs. I don't think there was any disappoint from my Andie.

Birthday traditions are the best, especially when birthday breakfasts wouldn't be the same without our pile of donuts. Andie was excited for her donuts and the night before her birthday told the siblings that they should be excited because we are eating donuts in the morning haha. I love traditions! Andie  was adorable with her donuts and loved the added Disney Zombie themed printables we tried to add in as much as possible with her decorations, such as the strawberry milk.

Of course after some playing with toys, getting dressed and ready we headed on out. Andie chose the chocolate fountain restaurant to eat at, in other words Golden Corral. I thought it was a cute way to celebrate her golden birthday as this is what Mom did for hers too. Chocolate is always EVERYWHERE when we go to the buffet but it sure is delicious.

Andie was so excited all week to go mini golfing but last minute once again she changed her mind to go to a jumping playground. I decided we should try some new jumping playground we haven't been to before. We went over to AirBourne and the kids all LOVED IT! We didn't have much time as Daddy would have to go to work but the time we did have the kids enjoyed every moment. Jake really loved stacking the blocks. Brooklyn loved stealing the balls from the dodgeball game, I am still surprised that she didn't die in there with all the big kids. Andie loved every part of it but by the end she really loved the stages to sing and dance on haha thats my girl!

When time was up at the jumping playground we hurried home to have enough time for the piñata. The kids were so excited for the piñata as they have never had one but have always dreamt of one. We didn't have a stick to use so of course the broom comes in handy for this. Brooklyn basically swept the piñata when she would try and hit it. Jake tried all different sorts of things to hit the piñata even a wrapping paper roll that broke in half. Andie finally cracked it open and they loved claiming their candy but of course sharing was a must. 

Cake this year didn't go as planned considering I had big plans to make a barbie cake, those cool ones with the dresses and the real barbie in it. Well maybe next year! We did get a princess cake for my princess and Andie loved it! Andie even got to cut her own cake and was so excited about it. Of course Brooklyn couldn't wait and had to pick at the icing while Andie was cutting. Gosh I love my kiddos.

Birthdays are the best celebrations of life and Andie's life is definitely something worth celebrating. I love you so much my princess. You my Andie Noelle are going to do amazing things with your life, heck you already are. You have so much ambition to accomplish anything you place your mind too and you place your mind to a lot. Happy Birthday my girl, I hope its your best year yet and all your dreams and wishes come true (especially the one about being a rock star).
