Brents Birthday

Over the past year and a half to two years Zachary and I have gotten to know a really awesome guy. My sister Melissa is dating Brent and we completely love the guy! We have so much fun playing board games, laughing, making jokes and getting to know each other more. It isn't very often Zach and I get out and hang with other people besides our little family. I am so glad that most of the times we go and hang with my sisters and this awesome guy!

Friday July 26th we got to go out and celebrate Brent's Birthday with him. We went and ate at Famous Dave's. It was Zach's first time eating there so it was a treat all the way around. We got Brent only the coolest Robot game ever, UnoRoboto. 

After stuffing ourselves with delicious food we went over to Boondocks for some mini golfing. We had so much fun that we even did both the courses. Did you know that on one of the courses they have a spinner that makes you do some crazy things while you golf. It was so much fun!

I am so glad my sister has found such an awesome guy. We are so happy to be able to call Brent our friend :) We love you Brent and can't wait until next game night!

Blood Draw

Andie went in for a blood draw on July 26th for a study she is in. As soon as we walked into the patient room in her doctors office she started to cry because of seeing this board. 

Andie must remember from last month when she got her blood drawn and the same thing happened to her. I felt so bad and wanted to cuddle her and tell her it was ok but the blood draw hadn't even happened yet. 

Andie did so good. I played some fun movies she loves on my phone to try to calm her the best I could. She was so tired after the blood draw, it really wore her out. We stopped by Walmart on the way home from the doctors office to get her a little something from the toy section for doing so good.

Andie got a stroller for her doll. I figured this was a good little gift for her to help her walk as she pushes her baby around the house. Andie looks so cute pushing the stroller around. I love my little girl and how brave she was today!

Hill Cumorah Pageant

My parents and younger siblings were in the Hill Cumorah pageant again this year. 

Back when Zachary was on his mission they were in it and I had the privilege of going to watch them. 

This year I never made it out and totally wish I did. The Hill Cumorah pageant is such a touching experience to watch, I can't wait to take my family to it one day. Zachary hasn't been to New York so it will be fun to experience that with him for the first time. If you haven't made it out to the pageant, go you will not be disappointed.
