Grandpa Redd 59

My dad turned 59, next year is 60. I love my Dad and all he does for his wife and children. I am such a lucky person to be able to call him my Dad.

I wanted to do something special for my Dads birthday and it took me until almost last minute to come up with this idea. I made siblings, in-laws, and grand kids write down on slips of paper things we love about my dad, a memory we have with my dad or even something funny. There is enough slips of paper in the jar to make a countdown to when Dallin returns home from his mission. 46 days :)

I love you Dad and glad I was able to celebrate this special day with you. I can't wait to spend more and more with you. Happy Birthday Dad!

Andie 1 Year 3 Months

I have a beautiful 15 month old daughter already? How is this even possible! Andie is growing up so fast and time seems to go faster and faster every day. At 15 months Andie....

1. Andie loves to climb. She climbs onto couches and chairs, tables and desks, book shelves and even up into her high chair. She has turned into quite the little monkey.

2. Andie has been spending more time with her cousin Nicholas and her Grandma Redd. With both Zach and I working she has been getting watched by different family members. It's good for her to start spreading her wings a little more and not be around Mom all the time. I miss her like crazy all the time and can't wait to be a stay at home mom once again!

3. Andie loves Ariel. Her obsession started right before we went to Disneyland for her 1st birthday. She watched "The Little Mermaid" a lot and then loved "The Little Mermaid" ride in California Adventure. When we got home from Disneyland her love for Ariel seemed to expand. We walked around the Disney store in Salt Lake and Andie went crazy. She picked out her own toy and everything. Andie has a heart of gold, I love my girl!

4. Andie is going to be a big sister! We actually found out when she was 13 months but now that the cats out of the bag we can post about this. I am so excited to have another little minion. Andie loves babies so I hope she can get used to a little brother or sister. I know Andie will be the best big sister ever :)

5. Andie has learned how to whistle, all on her own. She will crawl around just whistling to herself. I think it's so cute! Andies whistling reminds me of my Grandpa Sims. My Grandpa Sims and Andies Great Grandpa Sims is always easy to find. Just listen for the whistling and sure enough there he is. Andie does that same whistling and I love it!

6. Andie is still our girly girl! She still loves sunglasses and bracelets. You almost never see Andie without a necklace on! Anything Andie finds she will put around her neck like a necklace or even on her head like a hat. She loves moms hair elastics because they are perfect bracelets and she loves dads work hats. I have such a girly girl and I love her for it :)

I love my bright eyed 15 month old girl. She is my perfect little ray of sunshine.

Zachary 2nd Semester

Zachary started another semester of college. We are looking forward to the days when school will be done and we have careers. 2016 or even 2020 sounds so good. We will have schooling behind us, careers, a house and lots of kids to share all our love with.

This semester Zach is taking English, Math, online Radiology program, Biology and Biology Lab. He has a full schedule and is learning how to prioritize school, work and family life once again. I am so proud of Zachary's strong will to do all he can. I am lucky to have Zach in my life for now and for eternity.

Did I mention that his school books this semester cost us 465 dollars. Holy crap!

Emmalee is 16

My little sister turned 16, where did the time go? Happy Birthday Emmalee!

Wadsworth #2

In July we found out some exciting news in the Wadsworth family. I couldn't wait to tell Zach and only had a few minutes to plan how I was going to tell him. I ran to Andies toy blocks and started pulling out letters. I ran back to the bathroom counter and set up this little message for Zach to see when he got home from work.

We were so anxious to tell everyone our exciting news about Wadsworth #2 but decided we would try to make it until September, second trimester.

We didn't quite make it that long. I told my family at 8-9 weeks along. And then broke and told everyone else at 10 weeks.

We are due March 22nd. Which we do not need another March baby, but I don't care I am so very excited for this next child of mine. 6 more months :)

(First ultrasound, perfect diamond ring)

Uhaul

With all the change happening in the Wadsworth home Zachary wanted to join in on the fun. Zachs last day at RC Willey was August 6th. We then spent the rest of the week together relaxing at home with the family. We figured we would need some family time since we don't know how much we will see each other when it comes to both of us working and starting school.

August 12th Zachary started working part time at Uhaul. That first day he came home excited. He is loving the new job and he isn't drained when he is off of work. He feels like he is not covered in dust and exhausted from moving couches all day. He is enjoying the change and can't wait for school to start this coming week.

Zachary caught on quickly at Uhaul, they are very impressed with his work. Zach is such a hard working husband and dad for his family. We love him and are so proud of all he does for us! I love you Zachary :)

Working Mom

I got a job and I have such mixed emotions about it. I am so excited to be able to start working again to get dressed up and stay clean for a few hours, especially at a hospital job, BUT I am also bummed that I will have to be leaving Andie. I am sure after time Andie and I will both get used to the idea of me being a working mom. I have had such a special privilege to be able to stay home with her for the first year!

I got the phone call the end of July that I was hired on as a Receptionist at LDS Hospital in the Sleep Center. I love receptionist work so I have been super excited. This is also a part time job so I can still be a mom and wife PLUS maybe start school in January. Our prayers were answered!

I went in for a drug test, blood draw and a TB test. I was so anxious to start working, I hate the first few weeks at a new job trying to get the feel of things and learning everything. Its stressful but yet exciting. Ask me in a month how my job is going and I am sure I will love it!

So far there is a lot of paperwork and computer programs to learn. Why there isn't one master program that holds everything I do not know haha. I am starting to get the hang of a few things but I haven't been on the phones yet. I am kind of glad they are slowly bringing me in instead of throwing everything at me my first week and letting me pretend I know what I am doing.

I work with some amazing girls and a very kind boss. I have to start investing in some business casual clothes. I have nothing besides jeans so throwing together outfits after wearing pajamas the last year is getting kinda hard. I am learning so much about sleep apnea which is interesting to me since everyone I know has CPAP's it seems. I am loving my new job and I am sure I will love it even more when I understand fully what I am doing :)

Andie 1 Year 2 Months

The months seem to be flying by ever since Andie turned one. She is such a beautiful loving little angel of mine. Andie never makes for a dull moment and is constantly exploring and learning new things! At 1 year 2 months Andie is...

1. Andie stands alone and we are so proud she claps every time she does it. She loves to make her parents so proud of her and everything she does she succeeds. We love watching Andie learn new things everyday, we can't wait to continue watching and being proud her whole life!

2. Andie took her first steps this past month. She is taking her time at walking but that doesn't mean she can't climb and get into everything. Andie is such a trouble maker and is the biggest mess maker I know but I can't help but love her more and more each mess she makes.

3. Andie went to her first slurpee day. She loves otter pops and popsicles so she must love slurpees a too. She dug right in like a little pro! I see slurpee day being a new tradition in our home :)

4. Andie takes just after her mom, she loves staying up late at night and sleeping in in the morning. We are trying to fix this sleeping habit of ours but until then we love having so much Mom and Daughter time relaxing watching movies and playing with toys all night!

5. Andie has broken her bottle habit. No more bottles for this big girl, the binky is a different story. I don't know how we are going to get rid of that binky!

6. Andie is such a talker. She will talk all day if she didn't have a binky in her mouth the other half. She says "Eat" when she is hungry, "Hi" and "Bye" on the phone. Andie says "Baby" to her doll, "Oww" and "Aww" when she wears sunglasses and necklaces or thinks something is cool. She is expanding her word list more and more everyday!

7. Andie got her first night gown and loves it. If we let her pick her pajamas she would wear the night gowned every night. Andie is such a girl and I wouldn't have it any other way!

8. Andie has learned how to glare when she is mad. Mom and Dad think its so cute when she does it that we just want to pick her up and squeeze her in the biggest hug. That glare won't work on us!

9. Andie still high fives everyone all the time. She loves giving high fives out and we are working on the fist bumps. Andie is such a fun loving little girl :)

Andie is learning so much everyday and I love that I am here experiencing her life right beside her. I love providing and loving this sweet spirit I have been blessed with. Andie is perfect, I love her!
