Jake 30 Weeks

It's crazy to think 30 weeks in pregnancy has approached already. It's gone so quickly but yet taken FOREVER! I had to do my yummy glucose drink that I have been putting off on purpose. Who wants to drink the nasty flat very sugary melted otter pop and then get your blood drawn. Worst test ever!

I anxiously awaited to hear if I had passed or failed the glucose test. I failed with Andie so mentally I was ready for them to tell me to go and do the 3 hour test. I was surprised to hear I had passed with flying colours with a 108. Great news!

At my doctor appointment Yamashiro was at a delivery so Dr. Barton (I think) saw me instead. He had troubles finding Jakes heartbeat so we went to the Ultrasound room for a better look at things. Of course Jake was being sneaky and we found the heartbeat right away. Jake is already head down and just looking at the ultrasound they could til I had high fluids.

I had my 30 week ultrasound to check on fluid levels. They fluid levels are still a little high and he has some fluid in his kidneys. They are not to concerned because Jake is a wiggle worm and looks healthy over all. He estimated his weight at 3 pounds 12 ounces. That's a whole pound in 2 weeks. Dang boy!

I can't wait to hold my little man and see him in person, come on March. Hurry up time, I am ready!

Andie 1 Year 7 Months

Every month when I write a new update on Andie I am so surprised how much time has passed. How can each month go by so quickly? Andie is 1 year and 7 months old, 19 months! My baby is not a baby anymore she is our big sister :)

1. Andie sings all the time. She especially loves to sing her favorite movies songs. The Little Mermaid is still Andies favorite. She sings Under the Sea and it's so dang cute!

2. Andie got a toddler bed. She loves it! I am sure the princess bedding has helped some with that. She loves knowing it's her bed and she chooses to sleep in it. I am loving the transition with Andie picking to do it instead of us forcing her.

3. Andie has learned to climb stairs. I am sure she has known how to go up and downstairs already but we never are around them. I am still a worried mother and would rather have her stay away from stairs all together but Andie loves stairs and is getting the hang of them!

4. Andie has learned to stomp one of her feet when she wants something, wants us to come to her, is angry, dancing or excited. She always is stomping hard on one foot. It's so cute! My little girl may be getting some attitude but her laughs and smiles bring out the funny in her. Andie can't stay angry, she always is pretending and tries not to crack a smile.

5. Andie got new shoes. She was outgrowing her white shoes and we could tell she thought they were uncomfortable. Andie picked out her new black shoes and loves them! They didn't have her size so they are rather large on her, but her foot doesn't pop out or trip her.

6. Andie celebrated her 2nd Christmas. She was spoiled for sure but how can we not spoil our little girl? Andie got mostly her Disney barbies and the little mermaid items. She loves all things girly!

7. Andie has started to laugh in movies and for the most part it's in pretty accurate spots. I love watching her face when she watches movies to see her crack a smile, get worried, stare intently or laugh. Most of the times when we watch movies I am more glued to watching Andie then the movie.

8. Andie says "I love you". I have been waiting for what feels like FOREVER to hear her tiny voice say those words. Whenever I say "I love you Andie" she will reply back "I love you too". My heart melts hearing her say those words to me. Even talking on the phone she will say "I love you too". I love my Andie Noelle!

Watching Andie learn and grow so much each and every month never ceases to amaze me. She is such a special blessing to me in my life. I can't imagine life without my Andie right there beside her Dad and I.

Year 2013

Every year is a good year in my eyes. The good always trumps the bad. This past year has definitely fallen into this category. There is good and bad but life is good if we just live it to our fullest. Some of the highlights if this past year include...

1. We started the year living in my parents basement in a little one bedroom (which we are grateful). We excitedly moved into our own apartment in February after 6 months of living with my parents :)

2. Zachary started college! We were so excited for this step in our life because it means we are that much closer to careers and a house. 2 semesters of generals are complete :)

3. Valentines Day we celebrated. We got a special dinner eating at the roof restaurant and I got a new ring :)

4. Andie celebrated her first Easter. I had so much fun taking a photoshoot with her. We dyed eggs and has so much fun celebrating with our little girl.

5. We went to the Zoo together for the first time as a family. Family days are my favorite.

6. I got my phlebotomy certificate. It feels good to accomplish something new, especially when your scared of needles!

7. Taylor Lynn Landrum our beautiful niece has left us with so many joyful memories but saddened hearts. She is now our guardian angel watching over and protecting all those she loved, especially her Mom, Dad and Big Brother.

8. Zachary turned 24 and we celebrated with a Les Miserable theme! I am thinking Spider-Man for his 25th :)

9. Andie turned 1 year old. Minnie Mouse was the theme of her party because of a little trip we had planned.

10. We went to Disneyland for our family vacation. Andie loved "It's a small world", "Winnie the pooh" and "The little mermaid". We can't wait to go back!

11. I started working part time at the LDS Hospital Sleep Center as a Receptionist. I love my job!

12. Zachary stopped working full time at RC Willey and has moved on to part time at Uhaul. It's great because Uhaul is willing to work around Zachs school schedule.

13. We found out we will be expanding our family in March of 2014. We are excited to throw a little boy into our mix.

14. Our Hyundai Sonata was a headache that we couldn't handle anymore. We got a nice new little red car a 2012 Toyota Yaris. We love it!

15. Zachary and I have made it to 3 years of marriage and are still going strong!

16. My brother Dallin returned home from his mission to Tampa Florida. It's great to have my little brother home again :)

17. Kari my sister is pregnant with her third child. We are all anxiously awaiting to see if it's a boy or girl. Kari is due July 14th.

18. I turned 23 years old. I am getting old!

19. Brittany Zachary's sister is due in July also, the 18th to be exact!

20. We celebrated our 2nd Christmas as an official family with children creating fun traditions. This was Zachary's and my 8th Christmas together, time is flying.

Overall 2013 was a good year. I feel that 2014 is going to be perfect. Always look towards the bright side and every year can be our perfect year :)

New Years Eve

I look forward each New Years Eve to our traditional board game nights plus who doesn't love making goals to try and keep in the brand new year?

We started our night by heading to my sister Kari's house to play board games, eat pizza and gather some boy items for Jake she was giving away.

At 8:30pm we all headed out to go about our own ways to celebrate as families. Zachary and I decided to head over to my parents house and play board games with them.

It was fun to ring in the New Year with my family, parents and siblings. You can never go wrong with board games, munchies and dancing to the wii. What a fantastic way to end 2013.

Jake 28 Weeks

I am loving all these opportunities to see my little man before he is born. I only got to see Andie like twice. Watching Jake get bigger through our ultrasound pictures is so amazing.

I am getting more and more excited for March to hurry up and arrive :) Jake will be an exciting new addition to the Wadsworth home. I am so excited to see how Andie will react around her little brother.

Jake is perfectly healthy. No heart problems were found. I have high fluid levels and will go back for another ultrasound at 30 weeks to check on things. Jake is approximately 2 pounds 13 ounces already and is growing like crazy. I love my little man!

Keepers Christmas

Our last Christmas celebration of 2013 was spent with Zachary's Mom. It was so much fun once again to spend time together as a family. We ate delicious lasagna, had a fun white elephant game complete with things we will actually use and opened up gifts from his mother. Andie loved her presents and hanging out with her cousin Bailey. It was such a fun celebration to end our Christmas holiday this year!
