Canadian Thanksgiving

This year for Canadian Thanksgiving we didn't really do much. I thought I would do better for the holidays this year because I haven't been pregnant BUT I think it is worse, I am just way to tired. My parents still had a dinner so some of my siblings came into town.

While my siblings were in town we had some of them head on over to the temple with my parents. I was able to go with them to do sealings but Zachary was helping his patients in the morning. We then came home and I just spent the time at home cleaning the house and running errands for the weekend.

Of course we decided to take the kids out to play on a playground when errands were complete because they have been so cooped up with being sick this week. It was well needed!

On Sunday we then had a family dinner and all the siblings came on over to the parents house. Having two thanksgivings is always such a treat. Yeah for having one thanksgiving down and one more to go!

Brooklyn 11 Months

Brooklyn, baby girl, you are already eleven months old and I don't know how this is possible. I literally blinked and your life flashed before me and now your birthday is just around the corner. Brooklyn you have changed our lives for the better and I never want to imagine life without you in it. Brooklyn at 11 months old...

1. Brooklyn leads music but thinks people are waving. Whenever we are at church or watching Conference or anything that shows someone leading music, Brooklyn thinks they are just waving and constantly waves back. It is so cute watching her just wave and wave the whole song.

2. Brooklyn has been standing and walking along furniture. Brooklyn is our little speedy girl and moves like crazy all along furniture. She hasn't braved the actual standing alone or attempt of walking but it will happen soon enough I am sure.

3. Brooklyn prefers real food over bottles. Brooklyn is done with bottles but she still has another month ahead of her of them but then I think it will be easy to cut them cold turkey. We have switched over to the straw cups that the other kiddos use and Brooklyn is loving it.

4. Brooklyn uses a pillow in her crib and it's the cutest thing. I don't know what it is about a small tiny little head on a big pillow but it's the cutest thing ever! Brooklyn I love watching you sleep!

5. Brooklyn gets mad when others eat and not her. Jealousy starts young but that just shows we are human and boy is this girl cute when she gets a bit jealous. Brooklyn lets us know that she doesn't like being left out and of course we don't want to leave her out so we give in to our cute girl!

6. Brooklyn loves her brother. Brooklyn is constantly laughing at her brother and it's the cutest thing to watch those two interact. Brooklyn and Jake have such a special relationship and I guess that is what happens when you are so close in age. Watching these to grow up together is going to be such a treat!

7. Brooklyn loves her sister. Brooklyn has such a special bond with her big sister too. Brooklyn is surrounding by loving siblings and she gets so excited to play with them all. Siblings are the best thing and Brooklyn has some amazing bonds with hers.

8. Brooklyn is a fan of soda. Okay so maybe she is only eleven months old and we have given some sips of pop but that is great parenting right? I love you my princess Brooklyn. You just might have a bit of your parents in your especially your Daddy with his soda love.

Brooklyn Riley you are so amazing and I love everything about you. Watching you grow is unbelievable and I am so blessed to be able to be your mother. You have brought so much happiness to our home. I love you my princess always and forever!

Sick Kids

Do you know what is worse then having one sick kid? Having three sick kids all at the same time! To say the Wadsworth parents have been a little sleep deprived is just an understatement. They kids one by one stared telling us that their ears hurt, noses started running and then the eyes started to gunk up. I felt so bad for all my kiddos as they suffered.

It finally got to the point one night that Andie went to bed at 4:30pm crying in pain. Brooklyn wanted to sleep that same time but wouldn't fall asleep unless my hands were clasped over her ears, poor girls. Jake was trying to be tuff and doing a great job at it. We decided the next day we would need to take them to the doctors, but I only made an appointment for Andie (I thought if one would be seriously sick I would then take the other two in, great thinking right? NOT).

So Zachary took Andie in, while Mom was at work and Grandma was home with the other two. Come to find out Andie had a severe ear infections (both ears with puss included), basically strep throat, severe eye infections and of course a cold. With this diagnosis and the doctors office closing at noon I knew I needed to rush the other two in ASAP. Luckily my boss was at work that day and I ran to her saying I needed to leave for a bit to take my kids to the doctors and basically ran out. I called my Mom and asked if she could drive Jake and Brooklyn to the doctors office and I would meet her there. Zachary was taking Andie home to pick up the medication ordered and get her ready for preschool because this girl doesn't want to miss a single day, she loves school (Andie did fall asleep on the playground and her friend had to wake her up so maybe we should of kept her home haha)

Of course the outcome was that ALL THREE KIDS had the exact same diagnosis. My kiddos were in so much pain! I never associated runny noses with earaches but apparently this is a normal thing so always pay attention to those noses and eyes parents. For the next few weeks we would be giving kids their antibiotics 3x per day and eye drops 2x a day (it was supposed to be 3x a day but it is impossible to do eye drops without two adults there, one to hold the child down and the other to pry the eyes open).

Hopefully the kiddos get feeling better sooner then later and it just never comes back. Happy healthy kids you should NEVER take for granted! I love you, all my children!

Andie 4 Years 4 Months

Andie Noelle you are another month older, almost four and a half. Since going to school your vocabulary understanding has skyrocketed and you are so smart, it scares me to realize how much you really are growing up so fast. Andie at 4 years 4 months...

1. Andie loves musical movies. One day Mom was in the mood to watch Les Miserable so I watched it not thinking much of it. Andie asked so many questions on who the little girl was, why the old man was singing, she wanted to know their whole life story. She has now claimed Les Miserable as the "Mom dying movie" and she loves to watch it. Since Andie is into the musicals we have been trying to find others. So far she has watched Phantom of the Opera and Into the Woods as well.

2. Andie knows more of her alphabet. Andie so far knows the letters A, B, C, D, G, I, O, S, V, T, X, Y, Z that is half the alphabet. I am so proud of my princess especially considering the fact that she knew basically none just a month and a half ago.

3. Andie loves reading books. Each week in preschool they get a new book to take home to read. Andie loves to read her book and know every detail of the stories. How did she get so smart?

4. Andie has a best friend at school named Tofa. Its cute to see how Andie gets so excited to see her each day and even how excited Tofa gets to see Andie. Little kid best friends are the cutest thing ever! There is also a boy in her class that apparently is the mean boy. She says he pushes the kids over, knocks there toys away and just isn't nice. We have told her to just try and be nice back to him but the way she explains him is hilarious, kids are honestly true (Andie told Dad that the mean boy is big and squishy like Dad and has a brown face, I can't help but laugh).

5. Andie got her flu shot. Andie had the option of getting the nasal spray last year for her flu shot so this year I thought it would be the same choices. When we arrived at the doctors office we only had the shot choice and Andie was unimpressed. I felt so bad but Andie handled it like a champ like always, I love my princess!

6. Andie is enjoying My Little Pony real people thing. Andie has found YouTube videos of the My Little Pony and loves singing their songs, amazing how she has them memorized. She is constantly learning new songs and making up dances for it, truly amazing!

Andie, my girl, I love you so much! You are so smart and learn everything so quickly. You have such a friendly personality and loving to all those around you. You are such an example to me on how everyone should be. Never change my princess, I love you so much!

Weber University

I always seem to miss updating on Zachary and I, but so easy when it comes to the kiddos. Zachary is always busy and doing amazing things. Zachary got accepted into Weber and started his first semester in August. He had to do a couple extra courses with Weber before getting accepted into his program. We hope to be in the program August 2017 but of course everything will happen in the Lords timing so we wait and see.

Some of the extra items that Zachary can do to have a higher chance of being accepted into the program is having his CNA which he has. It did expire in July so we had to repay for testing to get certified again but it was worth it. A job shadow was also one of the items that Zachary could do and probably the most fun. Zachary did a job shadow at IMC Hospital with the radiology department. He was able to be in on surgery, see tramas and just take some x-rays. He had such a blast with the job shadow and wishes he could just start working in radiology right now.

Zachary is doing amazing with full time school, online by the way, and taking care of the kiddos all day long while Mom works full time. I love my handsome and how motivated he is to be able to support his family. Your amazing my man!

FHE: Prophets

We started by singing, "Follow the Prophet"

We talked to the kids about prophets. Who is a prophet? Why do we follow them? Etc. We then talked about how if we follow the prophets we will be happy and Heavenly Father will bless us. This was a perfect time to teach the kiddos about Prophets with Conference.

We hid some prophets around the room and the kids had to find them, they had so much fun running around the living room searching for these little white papers. (they are the same ones we colored later on this night).

We then colored our prophets and ate ice cream treats. We have been missing a few FHE nights but we are staying strong and the kids love them. It's great to teach the gospel in our home to our kids.

We ended by singing, "We Thank Thee O God for a Prophet"

Flu Shots

One day when Mom got home from work we all quickly went over to the Pediatricians to get the kids all their flu shots. The kids were not impressed of course with the shots as they were given them one on one in order, Andie first. Of course I took zero pictures because how can you take pictures of crying screaming kids?

We went to get some ice cream after the shots to try and cheer the kiddos up. McDonalds cones and a playground were the perfect medicine. We of course had some entertainment to watch with a car accident right in the parking lot. Apparently a customer came around the building and blacked out and hit an employee brand new car that she just had boughten. Poor worker. We had such a great time together even if it was a little dramatic.

Six Year Anniversary

Somehow I blinked and all of the sudden I am celebrating six years being married to this wonderful guy, my husband! We wanted to do so much like a big trip getaway but we have a little problem holding us back called children, at least they are cute, maybe one day we can do a trip.

We found some gift cards since this year we aren't floating in the money, anyone want to hand us some? No, okay. We went over to Olive Garden and ate some delicious pasta, it is always great going to Olive Garden reminds me of our first date (which we did reminisce about).

We then had some free movie tickets that were going to expire so we had to go to a movie. We weren't interested in anything in the theaters but there happened to be a new kid movie and come on that speaks our language haha. So we took our movie tickets and went and saw "Storks" and it was such a cute movie that I can't wait to show the kiddos.

We then rushed home unfortunately with nothing else to do but homework and cleaning the house, adult life is amazing! I love my Zachary and all that we have been through and continue to go through. Struggles make a couple grow stronger and I think Zachary and I winning that bet. Happy 6 years to my handsome, I love you!
