School Updates

We have two starting up school again this fall. Zachary is starting up his Radiology Tech program along with his clinical and Andie is starting up Kindergarten.

Zachary has had to go to so many different clinical orientations and school orientations that it has been a busy schedule. This has been preparing us for the fall schedule coming up. Zachary so far is liking the program and all he is learning, if anything he is just more excited to be able to do this the rest of his life. Bring it!

Andie registered for Kindergarten. I thought for sure we would get some information on who Andie's teacher was or when school would start but we got NOTHING! Do you know how much this drives an OCD person crazy when you are given no information to plan your life but you know you have to but yet you can't? Yeah I am super stressed.

Andie did get a cute new backpack from registration and we hope to hear as soon as possible from the school with more information of days, times, teachers, friends, anything....gah!

Sleep Tech

Lots of changes have been happening in the Wadsworth home and one of them was when Mom decided to switch job roles in her work department. When Zach got accepted into the Radiology program we needed to figure out babysitting for the kiddos and my day job of 5 days a week just wasn't going to work.

I loved my job as a front desk receptionist, don't get me wrong, it's my dream to organize papers (Yes I am nerdy like that). I love it! BUT sadly my love for what I was doing had to be placed on a scale on what was best for my family at this time. With that I decided I couldn't be selfish and I had to let go.

I am still with the sleep center, which I enjoy, but I am now working nights and performing the sleep studies on patients. It's interesting as I learn how to read the different stages of sleep in the brain waves and how to adjust CPAP machines plus everything else associated with the job. It's been fun and challenging all at the same time, plus don't forget the sleep deprived portion of it all.

I went through two weeks of training during the day and some night shifts to watch patients get hooked up but now I have been going strong at nights and feel somewhat comfortable maybe (I have to try and convince myself haha).

July 24th 2017

Since we were a bit lame for July 4th this year we wanted to at least do something with the kids for the 24th. They have been asking to go to the bouncy playground since Andie turned 4 years old I swear and so we did just that.

The kids had so much fun running around and burning off energy. It took Brooklyn sometime to get used to the idea of the unstable foundation of the bounce houses but with some time she was all over them too and loving it.

We are pretty sure Andie suffered a concussion because she went through of the bounce houses and came out acting different saying her head hurt. She then was miserable and laid on the ground instead of playing around in her dream play area the rest of the time.

We then went out and ate as a family. Andie was miserable for that too and I felt horrible that we didn't realize that she could of had a concussion until we got home. I was so worried about her all day long though and kept asking Zach if we should take her to the doctor. I of course am a very worried mother.

We had overall a very good day and the kids really did enjoy there time!
