Jake 10 Months

Jake Oliver is 10 months old. Ten months may not seem very long but to me these ten months have changed my life completely, I don't know what life was like without my Jake, and I don't want to know. I love my Jake and the perfect ten months I have had with him thus far :) Jake Oliver at 10 months old...

1. Jake can pull himself to stand. Jake loves to stand in his crib, against the couch, by toys or even chairs. This little man loves to stand, it's scary that walking is the next step!

2. Jake loves to crawl everywhere! It's cute to watch Jake crawl really fast with his head down and arms and legs moving so quickly. Jake is so funny, I love my boy!

3. Jake loves when Mom & Dad come home. Being a parent and having your little kids run to the door when your home after a long day at work, is one of the best feelings ever. When we arrive home Jake crawls to our feet so quickly ready for a big tight hug! I love Jakes big hugs at the end of my day :)

4. Jake is ready to get rid of the bottle. Jake would rather have real food over bottles any day. I don't know if it is just my kids but real food is so delicious there is no time for baby food or bottles in this world. Only 2 more months and Jake is on to bigger and better things ;)

5. Jake has been so sleepy this past month. Jake has fallen asleep at his highchair more meals then I can count on one hand. Its so cute watching Jake fight sleep so badly until he just has to give in. I think Jake must be growing through teething and a growth spurt this month!

6. Jake had his first Christmas and I think he enjoyed every minute of it. Jake was a pro at opening up his presents and enjoyed the gifts almost as much as the wrapping paper. Jake got so many fun new toys this year for Christmas that don't include princesses. Its hard having an older sister in the house!

7. Jake has the cutest little grouch face. Whenever Jake is mad or frustrated he breaths in and out super fast while making this grouch face. It is so cute! I can't help but laugh and grab Jake up into a big hug when I see this adorable face :)

8. Jake loves to dance! If there is music playing (or any type of beat) my boy is automatically dancing and rocking back and forth to the beat. It is so cute watching Jake rock out to any type of tapping or banging that may be going on around him!

9. Jake has started clapping. Jake loves to clap when he is super excited about something. The smile that comes with his adorable little hands clapping is enough to make any Mothers heart skip a beat. I love this cute boy of mine.

I love Jake and all his cute self. I swear everything this boy does makes me love him even more (how is that even possible when I already love him so much). Jake Oliver is such a joy to watch grow into the handsome young man he is. I love my Jake Oliver with all my heart :)

Andie 2 Years 7 Months

Andie is two years old and seven months. I love looking back at all of her month posts to see how far she has come. I have been writing a month post for her for almost three years. I love being able to keep this kind of history of her life for her. Andie at 2 years and 7 months...

1. Andie loves matches. I may have started this new interest with her when I became obsessed with candles. I love lighting candles and making the room smell so nice. Andie loves to sit and watch the little flame. We also started a big fire in our fireplace since it was so cold. The fire was having a hard time starting so we grabbed handfuls of matches and threw them into the fire. Andie was having so much fun :)

2. Andies loves to sing the ABC alphabet song. Andie is doing pretty good on the song I would say. It's really funny listening to her say "H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P" instead of J,K she says Jake, "H,I,JAKE,L,M,N,O,P". I love that girl :)

3. Andie loves to copy everything Mom does. Andie has always loved to copy all of my actions in what I do but she literally loves to repeat everything Mom says too. I think it's awesome how much kids can learn just from copying their parents.

4. Andie loves Fantasmic. We are preparing Andie for Disneyland (or as she calls it, D-Land) by getting her all excited by watching YouTube videos. Fantasmic has become one of her favorite shows. She loves Mickey Mouse and Malificent plus all the princesses, we really can't go wrong. It's so cute having her ask to watch "Mickey Mouse and Malificent" she thinks it's so scary but yet loves it with all her little heart.

5. Andie loves Peter Pan. Daddy wanted her to watch some other movies that weren't Princess. I would say Zach succeeded with his childhood favorite movie Peter Pan.

6. Andie celebrated her 3rd Christmas. Andie is to the age she is starting to understand Christmas. She loved everything about Christmas : fun family activities, the tree, presents, special treats. I definitely would say I think Christmas is Andies favorite holiday :)

7. Andie is now comfortable in Nursery. It took awhile for Andie to be able to stay in nursery on her own but we are finally at that point. Andie is so cute bringing us her drawings each Sunday with pride, I love her little scribbles :)

8. Andie loves to dance. Ever since we went to the Dickens Festival, Andie has found a new love. Andie has always loved to dance but she now knows that people dance up on a stage and people cheer for you. Andie also discovered Disney on Ice which involves even more dancing combined with Ariel, you can't go wrong with that. Andie loves wearing her pretty dresses and dancing for anyone and everyone to see!

9. Andie loves pizza. So this one is not new, Andie has loved pizza since the first time she tasted it. If we ask Andie if she is hungry she says she wants to eat pizza. We may have expanded that love when we decided to get a massive pizza for New Years Eve. Andie was so excited about that big pizza she couldn't even contain herself. She started singing "Happy Birthday" to the pizza because to her eating a massive pizza is exactly how she would want her birthday.

I love my Andie Noelle and her fun personality. Andie and I have so much fun together, she is one of my best friends! I love watching my girl grow into the beautiful energetic spirit. My girl is perfect and I love you Andie!

2015 Goals

My goals for 2015 are like any other year. I want to do better at family home evenings, reading scriptures, losing weight and eating healthy. This year I still have those goals but my main goal is one thing just to spend my time being with my kids and husband. Time is flying by in a blink of an eye and I don't want to miss this time I have with them. I plan to do better with family days, date nights and with smiling and enjoying my life just a little bit more everyday :)

2014 Highlights

In 2014 so many good things happened in our family. We celebrated many big events and our memories we carry on with us to the next year are fantastic ones. Here are 14 of our highlights of 2014...

1. We moved into our 6th home a basement apartment. We love it so much that we are staying a second year :)

2. Jake Oliver was born March 15th joining our family at 6:08am, 7 pounds 12 ounces and 21.5 inches long! He has had a rough start to his life but you would never guess when looking at his big smile now :)

3. We got a family zoo pass for the year. We have enjoyed having family days at the zoo watching the animals, especially watching the monkeys and going on the new water park slide.

4. We got our family pictures taken for the first time, not just once but twice.

5. We went to a couple of family weddings. Zachary's cousin Doug and Crystal were married along with my beautiful sister to our wonderful new Brother in law Brent.

6. We got three new nephews this year, two on my side and one on Zach's. Hunter and Michael were both born in July and Bentley was born in September. Its great to have boys around our little Jakes age.

7. Andie went to Shriners Hospital and we got some information on her thumbs. It was good to be able to get some information on our big decisions we have ahead of us on if surgery is needed or not for our princess.

8. We got to take a family trip to the Ogden temple open house, it was so fun to be able to take my kids into the temple with Zachary and I.

9. Zachary got his CNA license by doing a week long course. He has put his license into practice already by doing Premier Health and also seeing some private patients on the side. Zachary is loving working in the medical field.

10. I was able to go to General Conference for the first time EVER at the conference center. It was so amazing to have this special experience especially when prophets can now speak in their own language too.

11. Our little nephew Jack was baptized, how exciting it is to watch as his testimony grows.

12. We went on a little vacation weekend to Idaho. The kids handled the car ride so well :)

13. We went on many fun date nights as husband and wife and celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary.

14. We celebrated all the holidays this year with cheer! It was all of Jakes first holidays, so it was fun to watch his handsome smile in all of our celebrations :)

2014 was a great year and I look forward to see what 2015 has in store for our little growing family :)

New Years Eve 2014

I have never had any traditions for New Years Eve before. Yes I always stay up until midnight but nothing else is new. I finally decided on what the Wadsworths will do to celebrate the end of each year. PIZZA, and not just any pizza but a MASSIVE PIZZA!

It was so fun to celebrate New Years Eve just as a family with the husband and kiddos. Andie and Jake both stayed up until Midnight dancing around enjoying the fun! Ringing in this New Year was the best one yet :)
