Andie 4 Years 1 Month

Andie you are already a month into your fifth year and by this point time just keeps on flying by. You are going to be starting school so soon and your are SO EXCITED to be getting bigger and bigger each day. Andie at four years one month...

1. Andie is on a singing frenzy. Andie loves to sing and it doesn't matter if its a real song or one that she is making up as she is cleaning she loves to sing. It reminds me of when I was little with the tape recorders and would sing all the time myself. Like mother like daughter. I love my singing princess!

2. Andie loves charts/routine. Andie I think has a little of my planning obsession. She likes to know exactly what will happen the next day each night as she goes to bed. She loves following along to her night chart before going to bed and she loves just having anything laid out. Organization win!

3. Andie loves going to free lunch. How would anyone NOT love going to a playground and eating free food when your four years old? Child dream come true!

4. Andie had her first month date with her parents. We went to Finding Dory (Nemo 2) which was such a cute funny movie. Andie had to leave twice for the restroom/walk its hard to sit still for a whole movie. We had popcorn and drinks, it was so fun! Andie really enjoyed her first parent date.

5. Andie loves puzzles. Andie is constantly wanting to get out all the puzzles and make them all. She is so smart! We make dollar store runs all the time to pick up new puzzles to do. Oh goodness Andie will love school and learning all things new.

6. Andie had her four year check up or I guess its just called the yearly check up by now. Andie is growing up perfectly. I stated I wouldn't do weight stats anymore but I would stick with height. Height is 70% (40.5). Andie is still very tall for height. Andie also got her iron blood level draw as her iron levels are all over. They are good this time around and could just do the draw out of her finger prick which she hated but was much easier then it could of been if it was in her arm, next time AHHH.

7. Andie is excited for the new princesses. Elena is a new Disney show and Andie is obsessed. Andie has an Elena doll she sleeps with everynight. She has Elena barbie doll and Elena small figurines she can play with her magic dolls with. Andie created this new obsession so quickly.

8. Andie hates fireworks. Andie has never been a fan of fireworks in her whole life. Sure they are pretty from a distance but if we can hear them we are obviously to close. We mainly watch fireworks out windows from inside buildings. Andie stated she is to scared of fireworks not because of the loud noise but because they will fly and hit her stomach, silly girl.

9. Andie loves swimming. Andie would swim all the time if we let her. I have come to realize that saying is kind of a funny thing. Why don't I let Andie swim all the time? Oh the thoughts of my head. Andie is excited as we told her we would try to sign her up for some swim classes. Andie is getting brave and jumping off edges of the pool and that makes Mom so nervous.

10. Andie is missing mom more. Mom started working full time instead of just part time and it has taken affect on Andie. She is acting out more by baby talking a lot and just being cranky. Its sad to watch Andies life be flipped upside down without mom home. It will get better in a month when my hours change a bit and Mom is home more. Sorry Andie. I love you!

Andie Noelle is such a perfect big girl to our family. She truly has such a kind heart and is always wanting the best for everyone. Andie is so special and I can't imagine my life without you there to complete it. I love you my Andie girl always and forever!

July 4th

Holidays yes we aren't very good at celebrating those but we will get better, I have to. We got donuts to celebrate the 4th for breakfast, it was delicious!

We then all went swimming at the rec center before they closed at noon, nothing like a morning family swim session. Andie learned fast that you can't run at pools with a big scratch on her ankle, poor girl still wanted to swim even with her cut.

We came home to shower and get dressed, then ate some fast food (our last supper before starting good tomorrow). We cleaned out our vehicles they super needed it and the kids had a years supply of food under their car seats.

We had sparklers and then watched fireworks out the big bay window at my parents house. The kids are to scared of the loud banging from the fireworks so we have to stay inside always. It was a fun little holiday and we hope to create some traditions for July holidays sometime sooner then later!

Fathers Day

Is it sad that I forgot about Fathers Day this year until after we came home from the Zoo the night before? Yes, wife win right here! Its a good thing I took advantage of a free shutterfly offer like month ago and got some personalized deck of cards for Zach. Our morning was pretty shill and we ate some breakfast (random frozen things we had in our freezer).

After church we went to a park to meet up with Zach's side of the family to visit. We didn't purposely plan it for Fathers Day but it happened to work out that way. It seems like we haven't gotten to see much of Zach's family since Christmas so it was good to catch up and have the kids play and burn off some energy.

It was a fun time to just relax before the crazy schedule for me begins tomorrow!
