Brooklyn Riley my baby girl you are seven months old already and growing far to quickly. You are doing so much already in life and your only in the second half of your first year. You are the center of our family we all can't get enough of your adorable smile and contagious laugh. Brooklyn at 7 months old...
1. Brooklyn went swimming for the first time! We have been celebrating the summer just a bit more by going swimming at the rec center quite often and Brooklyn wore her cute swim suit - pink with gold elephants - for the very first time and I can't believe I didn't get a picture of her! Brooklyn loved sitting in her little boat and splashing around, it sure tired her out.
2. Brooklyn ate some rice cereal for the first time and loved it. She sits up in the highchair feeling definitely more involved with the family dinners. Brooklyn is the cleanest eater out of all the kiddos and has loved the food better then her older siblings too.
3. Brooklyn fell off the bed, every baby has to do that its like a right of passage right? I felt so bad and she was in the middle of the bed, it happened so quickly. Darn kiddos learn how to move so quickly when you least expect it.
4. Brooklyn loves her Bumbo. Brooklyn loves to sit in the bumbo and I swear right next to the swing they are the best purchases for a baby. Brooklyn loves that in the bumbo she can be more interactive with her siblings and boy does Brooklyn love her siblings! The bumbo has helped teach Brooklyn how to sit up more and she definitely is doing that more.
5. Brooklyn tried some juice in a sippy cup. Brooklyn is still trying to figure out how to use a sippy cup compared to her bottles, she may need a little more practice.
6. Brooklyn got a little sick this past month. Brooklyn got the nasty cold that went around our family with the runny nose, fever, sore throat, etc. Poor girl handled it like a champ!
7. Brooklyn still loves her Tsum Tsums. I never thought I would enjoy such tiny little hand sized stuffed animals before but they really are perfect sizes for little baby hands. If only we had all the princesses and Disney characters!
8. Brooklyn gets more bored easily. Now that Brooklyn is getting more mobile that means she gets bored just being stuck not moving. This is such a hard age for babies between the I just learned to sit and now I need to crawl/walk to get into more things. Brooklyn does enjoy watching some TV with her siblings at times now too.
Gosh Brooklyn our baby girl we love you so much! You truly complete our family at this time. You bring so much joy to us all. We love everything about your small little self. Brooklyn Riley you are our angel, we love you! I can't wait to continue to watch you grow, your Momma loves you!
