July Date

Three months in a row, we are on a role! This month Zachary and I didn't have much money to spend but we wanted to make it on our monthly date still (nothing is stopping that). We walked around the mall burning an hour before heading to a movie.

We went to the dollar movie (which is only 50 cents on Wednesdays, love it) and watched "The Amazing Spider-Man 2". We have already seen this movie but it was SUPER good and we have wanted to watch it again ever since we saw it the first time.

After our movie we went over to Cafe Rio and had some delicious food. We have been eating healthier and I only finished half my burrito before being stuffed to the brim (when before I could of ate the whole thing). It was such a simple  date but so much fun! I love my husband :)

Jake 4 Months

Jake is almost half a year old already! Yes I still have 2 more months but if I blink it will come and go far to quickly. Jake at 4 months old...

1. Jake hates things in his ears. He takes after his mother in this fact. No matter what it may be Jake does not want it in his ear : finger, qtip, water, etc he wants nothing to do with it!

2. Jake loves fireworks. The look on Jake's face as we were watching fireworks was priceless, to bad its so dark you can't see how amazing his little smile was during the firework shows we have seen this  past month. Jake has no fear!

3. Jake loves sitting up. He loves to be involved with everyone around him and he can't do that very well when he is lying down. With needing to sit up all the time Jake loves the bumbo and walker. I am surprised at how well Jake does at sitting but yet again he is growing fast so it shouldn't be to surprising :)

4. Jake loves being held and wrapped in his blankets. Jake grew out of the snuggling stage for a little bit but he is back in it at full force. Jake will sleep for up to 8+ hours at night if we wrap him up (love it).

5. Jake had a fever of 100 this month. I am guessing him and Andie had that same bug or something. With a really high fever and no other symptoms I was a wreck trying to figure out what was wrong with my babies. Jake is back 100% healthy and as happy as ever.

6. Jake loves laughing, talking and smiling! My boy loves being the center of attention and soaks it up. Jake has the best big smile I have ever seen a 4 month old baby have. Jake's little toothless grin is the cutest thing and your heart will melt, promise.

7. Jake is 15 pounds and 25 inches tall. He is in the 70% for height and 50% for weight. Jake is wearing size 3-6 month clothes, sleeps for 8+ hours at night with 3 naps during the day. Jake eats 6 ounces every 4 hours during the day and can go very long stretches at night. Jake is growing so fast!

Jake is such a handsome little man. He is growing into such a fun loving guy that will break many girls hearts, he smile could get anyone to love him! Jake loves all the attention and he gets all the attention possible by all who love him, especially his big sister Andie, Dad and Mom. I love you Jake Oliver!

Hunter Leroy

Ever since I had Jake (almost 4 months ago) I have been waiting for my three new nephews arrivals for this year. In 2012 we had 4 new girls (including Andie) in the family and now in 2014 we will have 4 new boys (including Jake), how fun is that?

I am excited to be an aunt to a handsome little guy Hunter Leroy Landrum weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces and 19 inches long. I won't be able to see my cute Hunter until September but thank goodness for technology so I can see his pictures daily.

I love you Hunter and welcome to the family, what a handsome boy to make me an Aunt times 13.

Andie 2 Years 1 Month

Andie has finished one month already in her third year of life. How crazy? Time is seriously flying by faster then I like to admit! At 2 years 1 month old Andie is...

1. Andie is playing with Jake more and more. It's cute to have Andie want to include Jake in her tickling or roaring wars. She loves to push Jake in her doll stroller and have him play in her forts. Andie loves playing dress up with Jake and sharing her stuffed animal with him. I love watching my girl be the best big sister possible!

2. Andie knows (most) of her extended family names on my side of the family. I am working on making a book with a picture of each family member so she can name everyone. It's hard when she has to learn almost 50 names just to cover her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

3. Andie had a fever of 101 this month. The fever stuck around for a couple of days with no other symptoms. I am such a worried mother when I know my girl is sick. I still don't know why the fever was so high but I loved the cuddle days I got with her.

4. Andie loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. In the Wadsworth household we go through peanut butter and jelly jars in less then a month. Andie has discovered this sandwich loving part and whenever the bread is in sight a sandwich must be made.

5. Andie has a love hate relationship with fireworks. Andie loves watching fireworks in videos or seeing them in pictures. Once you put Andie in front of a firework show the loud bangs get to her and she hides under a blanket. Andie is so funny with her love hate relationship!

6. Andie loves playing in water. Everyday Andie is asking if she can get on the cupboard and play in the sink. Yes it's my fault because I let her play in the water while I do dishes to entertain her but with her Ariel mermaid love she is bound to love water anyways.

7. Andie gets ready with me in the morning and loves it. When I put on lotion, brush and do hair, brush teeth, put on makeup or get dressed, Andie is right there with me doing it herself. Andie loves copying mom and getting all pretty with her hair done, clothes on a necklace to complete her outfit. I love pretending to put makeup on her face and help her brush her teeth. Andie is perfect!

8. Andie is in size 2T pants and shirts and size 3 diapers. Andie loves basically all food, there isn't really anything that she hates besides hot things and pop rocks. Andie hates getting her food cut up and would rather try to eat things whole. This is hard to do when you have a paranoid mother. Andie is not my baby anymore, she is such a big girl :)

Andie is an amazing daughter. Everything about his girl I love. Andie has the best smile and laugh. Her personality is one in a million. Watching my little girl grow up is a dream to me, I would never wish anything different!

July 4th 2014

Every year I think I am not excited for July 4th, and every year I am reminded that I love July 4th (I thought I would never love July 4th, I guess my Canadian pride is evening out with my USA pride).

We went for a BBQ at Brent's house, Melissa's Fiance. It was delicious! How can a BBQ not be delicious when you have yummy burgers, chips, watermelon, salad, drinks and ice cream to feast on!
It was fun getting to meet Brent's parents and sister (we will know a few familiar faces come September for the wedding).

After we were filled we headed over to our backyard (city park) to watch the fireworks. It's always so neat watching the fireworks from our backyard because there is explosions all around you from everyone setting them off. Pictures don't do it justice! What a fun filled holiday we get to spend with family :)
