Andie 1 Year 5 Months

Andie is 17 months old and I don't even know how that happened. I blinked and the time just disappeared. Every day I look at my little girl and realize she is not so little any more. I am in shock! At 1 year and 5 months...

1. Andie is running all over the place! She has the energy level of 5 kids combined into one tiny human body. With all that energy there is no other option but to run, ALL OVER! Andies favorite place is to explore the great outdoors or any large building, bigger the better right? Andie will pull on our fingers and lead is any where and everywhere she wants to go. Andie never stops and I love it!

2. Andie has been sick a couple of times. I think most of it is due to teething! Andie still has the four front teeth on top and four front teeth on bottom. No teeth have grown in since, not even her year molars. I am sure we will see more pearly whites pop up in the next month! Andie is wearing size 18 month clothes mostly, wears size 3 diapers and is still a small 20 pounder.

3. Andie has become a picky eater this past month. I don't mind it because who doesn't love fruit, pasta and junk food. Yes that has been our diet lately! We are getting sick of some of the same foods but fruit never fails us. I worry that Andie is so skinny but she is growing like a champ still. 32 inches at her last WIC appointment.

4. Andie has discovered spinning in circles. She will stand in the middle of a room and then just start spinning. I think it is so cute how she will try to walk after spinning for quite sometime. That is probably why we have discovered a few more bruises on her then usual. Andie is so funny, I love her!

5. Andie has a love for coloring! She will color all day long. Colouring books, notebooks, Dads school books, dishwasher, walls and scriptures. Nothing is safe if Andie has a coloring device in her hand. I love watching her be so creative and concentrate on every drawing. She reminds me so much of myself!

6. Andie is getting a little brother. I don't know if she is thrilled about this or not! She has discovered my stomach is getting bigger and is not very comfy to lay on. She will get so confused and try to lift up my shirt to see what I must be hiding in my belly, silly girl! Zachary and I have been trying to teach Andie how to say Jake. So far we have accomplished "J-J". So we will have little brother JJ coming in March :)

7. Andie has always been such a good helper when it comes to cleaning. She has discovered that whenever we change her diaper she has a fun task to do after. Andie anxiously waits for me to put her pants back on before running away with the diaper to the diaper pail. She loves throwing her diapers away (and I don't mind). Zachary and I are getting excited to start potty training at the beginning of the year, hopefully that goes over smoothly!

8. Andie loves pianos. I think with Andie being watched by my amazing mother the past 3 months while I have been working, she has discovered the big piano at the Grandparents house. Every day when I drop her off with Grandma Redd she climbs up onto the piano bench and starts banging away. Zachary and I have found iPhone apps and iPad apps that are like a piano keyboard you can play and she loves them! Pianos and music we will have a popstar on our hands before long!

9. Andie celebrated her 2nd Halloween and 2nd Canadian Thanksgiving. I love the holidays but having kids around makes the holidays that much more special. Watching Andies eyes light up when she was able to pick her own candy out of the trick or treat bowls and watching Andie handing out her candy to other little kids was the highlight of my Halloweens thus far :)

What a difference a year makes!

Andie is such a fun loving girl. Her personality is so outgoing and lovable. I am so blessed to be able to watch her grow and be her mother. Andie is such a special spirit and you can feel it every time you are around her. I love my Andie and all her fun crazy personality that comes with her :)

20 Week Ultrasound

The morning of November 4th I was so excited to finally see our little boy again for the 20 week ultrasound. I anxiously sat through work and every phone call waiting for the clock to tick to 12:30.

Finally time came for me to head home, pick up Zach and rush over to the ultrasound clinic at the hospital. Andie was being watched by my Mom extra long this particular Monday so that we would not have to hold her through the important appointment. Going back to the same ultrasound clinic we went to for Andie, brought back so many memories. Its crazy how its been almost two years since that moment. Time flies.

Little Jake is looking healthy and is measuring perfect. Yes he is a little on the small side, just like his sister but that is no concern for me. The Ultrasound Tech and Doctor were a little concerned about his heart though. They couldn't get a clear enough picture of his heart to 100% say there was nothing wrong with it.

We haven't decided if it was the position that Jake was in, or if there really is a concern with his heart. I pray everything is 100% perfect on my little man. I get to go back in for another Ultrasound November 25th for hopefully a better look at the heart, after he has grown a few more weeks. Yes I am a little nervous but I feel that no matter the circumstance, he is my son and I love my little Jake. Jake will always be perfect in his mothers and fathers eyes!

The Saratov Approach

I have wanted to watch "The Saratov Approach" for as long as I can remember. I read all about it before they even started making the movie. What an amazing story these two missionaries have lived through. Feeling the spirit in the theater was such a neat experience. It is not something you can do every day. If you have not watched "The Saratov Approach" I really recommend it. I loved it!

Halloween 2013

I knew what I wanted Andie to be this year way before Halloween even came around. I ordered Andies costume back in July (early much?). I guess you can say I was wanting to be prepared, thanks to Pinterest!

Andie looked so cute in her Halloween costume and loved the couple of times she got to wear it. I was so excited to do another little photo shoot of Andie in her costume but it is getting to the stage where it's impossible to get non blurry pictures. I did manage to capture a couple beauties :)

This year we went to my sisters work party during the day to trick or treat like last year. We then decided to head over to our old old ward boundaries in West Valley that evening to go trick or treating. Andie had so much fun holding her bucket out and grabbing the candy out of bowls. She is one smart little girl, each time they would let Andie reach into the bowl she would pull out like 5 candies (I put them all back each time but one). Don't worry Andie is not a pig when it comes to her candy. Andie is actually very sweet, she would hand out candy from her bucket to other trick or treaters (It was pretty funny). She is our kind hearted girl for sure!

Andie is loving all the candy she gets to munch on. She brings me little pieces everyday to open up for her. Andie is so funny and cute, she had so much fun and I love my girl so much! She is my happy Andie and that will never change.

Dallin Is Home

My little brother is home :) I am so happy to know after two long years serving in Tampa Florida, Dallin is home safe. It was so fun to tease him like normal and talk like no time had passed at all. So much has changed but yet nothing has changed. It's crazy how missions do that! I love you Dallin and hope your move back into normal life is perfect :)

Wadsworth #2 : It's a...

I have been looking forward to October 18th for what feels like forever. They day finally came and I was so excited to go into my appointment and find out if baby #2 is a boy or girl. Thank goodness I made my appointment for the morning, I would of gone crazy waiting all day!

Andie, Zachary and I all went to my Doctors appointment for the exciting news. We anxiously waited for Yamashiro. Andie was to entertained by all the doctor supplies everywhere. You can't lock a little girl in a room and expect her to behave right? I love my trouble maker.

As soon as Yamashiro pulled up my account he noticed I was just about 18 weeks, gender check! We followed to the Ultrasound room and within seconds we heard our little MAN. His heartbeat was perfect 150 and as far as the doctor could tell, little Jake is perfectly healthy.

We go in for our official anatomy scan November 4th and I hope everything is still perfect. With my coughing fits lately it better not affect my guy! I love my family. Zachary is the perfect husband. Andie is the most beautiful daughter. And soon we are adding the cutest boy to the crowd. Yes I love my family!

Canadian Thanksgiving

Every year I say this, and I will continue to say this every year! I love celebrating two Thanksgivings each year. My family got together for Canadian Thanksgiving. We were missing Dallin and next year we will be missing Jordan, that's a bummer! I love getting together with all my family. I have the best family in the world :)

We ate our delicious dinner my parents made for us all. We talked and laughed and made more great memories.

We ended the night by playing The Game Of Things. My family loves that game, we love games in general but still! We even had my little brother make us awesome paper hats to wear during the game :) did I mention I have the best family ever!

Emmalee Homecoming

I had a fun Friday with Emmalee and Andie.

We went shopping for a dress.

We found an awesome vending machine.

I love my little sister.
