Disney Day Three

July 10th was our second day in Disneyland, third day at the parks. We spent the first day doing so many rides that today we decided to focus on some character meet ups for the kids. We lucked out because just walking into towns square we meet up with Cruella DeVil, Minnie Mouse, Snow White, Pluto and even Marry Poppins. We basically hit a jackpot of characters!

We decided we should probably hit up some rides so we went over to Astro Blasters because all the kids are into Toy Story right now, perfect! Their little store you can walk around in is so much fun and the kids were loving imaging what their souvenir could be, come the end of the trip.

We then went over to Autopia, the kids love driving that one even though they think Mom and Dad are better drivers because it isn't as bumpy when we drive haha. So funny! We then went over and had some snacks on the train that goes around the park because everyone was tired by adventuring hard yesterday.

On our way to the train we passed this Star Wars show so the kids were watching for just a little. Darth Vader came over towards us and Jake ran away and hid under a table like his life really depended on it, it was hilarious! Poor kid was scared out of his pants!

It's a Small World around the Parade time is so perfect to go because we got to watch the parade once again but yet also entertain ourselves in line. The kids enjoyed it and we decided that was a perfect time to do it every time you ride the ride. I don't know why the line was so long this time around, we have never had It's a Small World have a long line on any of our previous trips.

Next up we went over and hit some more Fantasyland Rides such as the carousel and Peter Pans ride (the kids favorite). Last vacation we didn't even think standing in line for Peter Pan was worth it but this year I have a feeling this won't be our list time around, come on fast passes. Dumbo ride was an adventure as we were all a bit tired and cranky as it was hot and we were emotional. Our 4th miscarriage was getting to me, the kids were fighting in line. We left the line and sat on a wall by a pond. A worker came by and saw us all miserable. She sent us to the front of the line, it was exactly what we needed to change our moods around at that moment.

We decided we needed to burn off some energy and just walk around in some shady area and eat some lunch to help us feel a bit better. Belle happened to walk by so we got some pictures with her and then the kids used their spray fans to cool down. Pictures in front of the castle and we were all finally feeling a little better. Andie really wanted to do the boutique but it is so expensive and I knew if one kid did it they would all want it, of course I felt Mom guilt and knew I would have to come up with something special to do for the kids by the last day in Disney.

We went through the meet the character castle to see more princesses, see it was a total character day. My kids thought it was funny that Snow White didn't remember seeing them that morning. I just told them she meets so many kids it is hard to remember everyone each day. Even with the little hiccup the kids really enjoyed meeting the princesses.

We decided we would head on over to the Tiki Room and I wanted to try some Pineapple something since it is so famous or something. It was all our first time having it, besides Zach, and personally I wasn't too much of a fan of it. The kids totally gobbled it up and wanted more though!

It was now time to sit and save spots for our Firework watching experience. Its ridiculous how early you have to sit and wait if you want to sit upfront by the castle. The kids enjoyed snacking and talking about their adventures at Disneyland though so time passed quickly. The firework show was awesome like usual. We had to bring our ear pumps (sound proof ear muffs) for the kids as they are chicken around fireworks still but they could still hear a bit of the music and sounds it just muffled it so it worked out perfectly.

As it was dark now and we were tired we went on a couple more rides like Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan before we headed back to the hotel completely ready for bed that night. We had the kids choose what they wanted for dinner so Raman, Tortilla Pizza and Rice was on the menu as everyone wanted something different. Hotel living isn't it the best?
