Andie 1 Year 4 Months

Andie is getting to be such a grown up. I need to stop blinking already. Before I know it Andie will be graduated from High School and heading off on her own. It amazes me everyday just how much she learns and grows. At 1 year 4 months....

1. Andie has learned to walk. She has finally decided her time has come and she takes off. I love it! Everyone always told me to enjoy it while she couldn't walk but come on she was still able to get into everything and move just as fast as she is now. I am so happy my little girl can walk :)

2. Andie is a climber. I posted this last month too but boy is she a climber. My Dad said to me one day when I was picking her up from being babysat that "I am glad she is yours". Yes I am glad this active little girl is mine too. Bookshelves, Couches, Desks, Tables and Chairs. Nothing can stop this little one!

3. Andie loves the colour Red. I think her love started with Minnie Mouse and expanded on to The Little Mermaid. We went car shopping this past month and Andie pointed at all the Red cars. I think she is satisfied with our new car :)

4. Andie is such an outgoing flirty little girl. Andie blows kisses at anyone who will blow them to her and she gives high fives out like there candy. Andie will repeat funny actions if people laugh, for example she swung her arm and hit my cheek on accident when I was carrying her. I laughed so she laughed too. When we stopped laughing she says "and I was like" and she will swing her arm to make us laugh again. She will do this over and over.

5. Andie is starting to get an idea what she wants. She is in the pointing phase which helps us out so much. Andie will point outside or to food or drinks. Andie will point to toys she wants to play with, movies she wants to watch or clothes she wants to wear. Andie is getting so smart!

6. Andie takes after her mother and is scared of animals. Good thing I am allergic so I can use it as my excuse, hopefully Andie will be too! She is ok with dogs and other animals from a distance but as soon as they get to close she freaks out. I feel so bad for her watching her be so scared. Good thing I can take that fear away by picking her up!

7. Andie is so helpful. She is going to be the best big sister! Zachary and I have made it a goal not to get mad at her if she is trying to help. Even if that means watching her put dirty clothes in with the clean clothes or throwing away her toys when we are picking up garbage. She tries her hardest to do what Mom and Dad are doing. I am so proud of my Andie for picking up her toys, throwing her diapers away, and helping Mom and Dad whenever she possibly can :)

8. Andies vocabulary grows everyday. She says so many things that I am sure I will miss a few on this list. Andie says : Mom, Dad, Ann, Bye, Ouch, Eat, I was like, Hi, Baby, Ariel. Andie understands what everything is and is quickly learning there names! I love watching her little brain work.

I can't believe my little girl is already 16 months old. Time is flying by but Andie will always be my little girl :)

Jordan Is 18?

How are all my younger siblings getting just as old as me?

Jordan is 18 years old, an adult! He was out of town for his birthday so we celebrated a little late.

Jordan plans to leave on his mission in March. That means he may or may not even see baby number two. We will miss him for sure!

Happy Birthday Jordan, I can't believe our next one we celebrate together you will be turning 21!

Three Years

Three years ago I married my high school sweetheart/returned missionary. I can't believe we have spent 3 happy years together already and thank goodness we have eternity to go. I love my husband and all we have been through. I can't imagine my life without Zach by my side supporting me 100%.

New Car

I am working up at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake. If you haven't driven up there you don't know the steep hills you have to take to get there. Ever since I started back in August I have been so worried on how I would get up the hill once it started to snow. All this worrying got Zach concerned so he immediately started looking into tires.

We went to get our tires changed after my doctors appointment on September 20th. We dropped the car off at the shop and started to walk around the nearby stores. Soon after we received a call from the shop, I kept telling Zach to keep his phone nearby because I knew they would call us.

Long story short the shop denied being able to put new tires on our car. The damages would be $3,000 to fix. Our car isn't even worth $3,000. Zachary and I had a decision to make. 1. We could fix the car which would include: tires, bad oil leak, all 4 axles and axle bearings, brakes and much more. 2. Keep driving it even though the wheels could fall off at any moment. 3. Buy a new car.

We decided to take the car home and decide. Immediately when we arrived home we got on the Internet and started looking at cars. We don't make a lot of money so we didn't even know if buying a car was even possible. You can say we were a little stressed out!

Zachary started calling around and decided we should go look at low book sales. So that is exactly what we did!

Andie loved all the red cars. Zachary and I were looking for cheap as possible plus would fit two car seats. We all came to an agreement and left with a red 2012 Toyota Yaris. I am so excited about our car. Rain and snow don't scare me anymore and I know this car should last us for many years to come. I am so happy we have a new car to keep my family safe :)

Nathan, 14 Years Old

My little brother is 14 years old. How do the years keep flying by?

I remember my 14th birthday. I was so excited to get my learners permit. I can't even see my little brother driving at this age!

It's fun to see where the years take each one of us. I love having the privilege of watching all my amazing brothers and sisters grow.

Happy Birthday Nathan :)

September Doctors

Fridays have turned into my running errands day. Since I have Fridays off all appointments are made on those days. Andie and I have a lot of fun spending this time together. On Friday September 20th we had a little less fun with our doctor appointments.

The morning started with us rushing to get ready. We made it to Andies 15 month appointment just on time (barely). As soon as she saw the nurse take us to the room she started shaking uncontrollably before the tears started flowing down her face. Andie knows she is the one that gives her shots and draws her blood. Andie measured in at 10% for her weight and 80% for her height and head. She is one tall skinny girl.

After Andies shots we decided food and a toy for her was a must. The doctor gave her a purple stretchy bracelet which she loves but it doesn't seem like enough after 3 shots. We decided to make our way to the Disney store downtown for Andie to pick something out. With Andies obsession with the little mermaid can you guess what she picked?

After our stomachs were filled and Andie was happy once again we headed over to my Doctors appointment. At 14 weeks pregnant babies heart rate was perfect and I have lost 12 pounds from pre pregnancy weight. Mom and Baby #2 are both healthy. The Doctor stated October 18th we can find out the gender, we are so excited :)

Today was fun, even filled with Doctors appointments. I love spending the time together as a family! I can't wait for Baby #2 to come along and make our small family even better. Now comes my Pinterest searching for a way to reveal the gender on October 18th :)

State Fair and Uhaul

Zachary as soon as he saw the first fair sign come up this year stated we would be going. I haven't ever been to a fair but agreed this would make a good family day.

We were babysitting our Nephew Nicholas so he came along to see the animals with us.

We didn't want to spend any money, so we walked around booths to get all the little free things. We then went and saw all the animals. Andie was so scared of the animals if she got close to them, from a distance she was fine :) So funny!

After we did all we could we left and headed over to Taylorsville park for Zachary's work party. It was nice to see Zachs boss and some of his coworkers. We ate some food, played on the park and in the raffle we won a car cleaning kit (haha). There was TVs, Wiis and iPods even but we got our car cleaning kit. At least we won something!
