Have I mentioned that we are living in my parents basement? Ever since Zach lost his job in December we had to jump into a home and when we did then we decided we wanted to do some changes.
In July we spent a very long weekend painting the basement. Then the walls matched the playhouse and had to paint that. Then we realized that the doors and frames are dirty and so we repainted them white. It was a very long project but we love the basement better then the yellow it was.
We also spent time cleaning the garage at my parents place and organizing fridge/freezers and of course you can't forget our bins in storage and the storage room with all the extra food. We had a very busy month of organizing but that is what I love to do. We also went and took some DI trips of our stuff to minimize better and of course we got a couch that is big enough to fit the five of us.
We have enjoyed getting this basement into our little home and are loving how it is turning out to be like. Now to decide what the future holds with our housing if that is here or elsewhere time will tell I guess.
