Disney Day Four

July 12th was our last day in California Adventure until who knows how long, so sad! We wish we had a for sure date of our next family vacation but with our future everything is rather in the air. We decided to hit as much as we could of things we haven't done yet and of course some of the rides the kids liked last year we tried to convince them again to go on but failed. We did make it on Goofys skyschool and saw a CoCo display Brooklyn loved. Before arriving at the park we did stop by the gas station on our walk there and get some ice chips to cool us and our drinks off all morning, best decision ever!

It was a really hot day so we wanted to all just drink and sit inside so we decided Disney Juniors Dance Party was a good idea. The kids were a bit shy to dance and party unless they were right by Mom and Dad, yes they are shy in crowds! Last time the kids were way more outgoing but with age I think Mom and Dads shy personalities are rubbing off on them, oops! Andie and Jake did get picked out of the crowd to make the sound of a hyena and it was the cutest little noise ever, so happy I caught it on video.

After the show we headed next door to meet Anna and Elsa because with a Frozen loving girl you can't just skip meeting such important characters. The wait was long but we had the kids run around like normal, this time the workers didn't like kids running around though which was a little bit of a bummer that they couldn't burn off more energy in a cooled aired building. We managed though and all the kids were so excited when we finally had our turn.

After meeting the characters we were told to go over and watch their show, which we had never seen before. It was another indoor activity so we decided why not? It was a good place for us to eat lunch with some entertainment and surprisingly the kids all sat through it and did really good.

We decided we needed to go and get some rides in and Maters Junkyard was a family favorite this trip so of course we had to ride that a few times. Oh how fun that ride is and the smiles we get from the kids is amazing! We then went over to get Maters picture that Brooklyn has been wanting because we had to succeed in that quest since we failed last time. Woot, woot for making it today!

We spent more time in Cars Land and watched the DJ dance show because we hadn't seen that before. Well it wasn't even that great and we were a little let down but the kids still enjoyed it. Jake thought it was cool to see DJ because of course he is another Cars Character and he still has a soft spot for his McQueen loving self.

I don't know if anyone remembers our Disneyland Ferris Wheel experience last year with the bee and we about died. Okay we didn't really almost die but it was a very scary ride that we vowed to never repeat or go on that ride again. Well we changed our minds as it was another ride the kids didn't do yet this trip so we went over and rode the Little Mermaid before boarding the scariest Ferris Wheel ever haha. The kids were a bit worried of the height factor once we stopped at the top but there was no bees and we enjoyed the view so it ended out better then we expected.

The night time parade would be starting soon so we decided to why not find a spot and sit and relax. We happened to sit by this family that had a little boy around Andie's age and the kids loved running around with him. They ended up covered in bubbles and really enjoying the wait for the parade. Right before the parade was about to start we did a bathroom pit stop with the kids and Jake had an unfortunate accident where when he sat to use the restroom his aim wasn't the best and he got his underwear a little wet. Well Daddy did what he could and Jake was so excited to show me he had no underwear on that he might of flashed a few people but I tried to pull his pants up fast and so no one would see, gosh darn little boy haha.

The parade was great and we all really enjoyed it. Jake was so excited to be able to see Mac, McQueen and even DJ again. The girls of course loved all the dancers and princesses, they love watching the parades.

The park would be closing soon but we wanted to make sure we hit Goofys skyschool for Andie one last time and of course Monsters Inc because we somehow missed riding that today. We made it on all our last minute rides but wish we could of spent a few more hours or even an extra day, last days in the parks are always so hard.

Souvenirs were gotten before heading on back to the hotel. Jake picked out a cool Junkyard Jamboree toy which was fitting for our family favorite ride. The girls picked out new stuffed animals. Andie got Violet from Incredibles and Brooklyn baby Jack Jack. Gosh I love our family and the traditions we have created.
