Little man had his last blood draw for awhile on July 27th. It was a rough day as I tried to hurry and get everything gathered for his appointment that morning. Zachary was out helping some patients get ready for the day when he got a screw in the car tire, booo.
I called the doctors office and advised them I was going to be late, thank goodness they were able to work around my delays. Zachary finally returned home and switched the car seats over to the van so I could quickly get on the road. The van was out of gas which delayed me just a bit more, then Jake decided to through up (TMI). I didn't bring the diaper bag with me so I quickly stopped by target and bought him a new outfit, poor kid.
By the time we got to the appointment Jake was hesitant on what was about to happen. Jake did so good and didn't even flinch when he was poked, but he did cry from the moment he saw the doctor. After some treats and a new set of hot wheel cars from Mom and Dad for doing so good we were on our way home. Jake did so amazing!
The rest of the day the kids napped, we fixed the flat tire on the car, got a quote for new van tires, bought a new couch and took the old one out of the house ready for bulk garbage day. It was such a busy day. Being an adult is so hectic you never get a day off ;)
