Brooklyn Riley my baby girl you are two years and nine months old and you are growing so quickly. I wonder how long I can get away with calling you baby girl? My goodness why is time going so fast? I never expected you to be my last baby so with this going so speedy quick and me not being prepared this is really eating at me so please just slow down little one. Brooklyn at 2 years 9 months...
1. Brooklyn went to Disneyland. Brooklyn you were in Heaven this past month as we took you to Disneyland. When we initially talked to you about Disneyland you didn't really understand what we were talking about but after this trip I don't think you could ever forget. Your favorite rides were of course the Tiki Room, It's a Small World and Winnie the Pooh those traditional small kid rides. Your all time favorite ride took us by surprise though it was Maters Junkyard Jamboree, YOU LOVED IT!
2. Brooklyn loved meeting princesses. Brooklyn was obsessed with meeting the princesses in Disneyland so much that she now will dress up like the princesses and have us sign books for her. I love that little girls seem to do this after trips to Disneyland. Brooklyn enjoyed the characters and parades but the princesses obviously was a favorite. Brooklyn did want Mom and Dad to come up with her though with everyone because stranger danger is a real thing.
3. Brooklyn is obsessed with Jack Jack. Brooklyn loves Jack Jack from the Incredibles so much but how could she not with her baby obsession. So of course with the Jack Jack obsession can you guess what the souvenir was this Disneyland trip for Brooklyn was? Your right! It was the cutest stuff Jack Jack. Brooklyn loves her Jack Jack.
4. Brooklyn has no more Binky. Brooklyn is pacifier free and honestly without this family vacation keeping Brooklyn's mind busy and tired 24/7 then I don't think that plug would of ever came out of her mouth. We had tried everything with cutting the binky, to hiding, to having her throw them away, to everything under the sun. So we let Brooklyn have a binky on the drive down to California but then from then on out we had hid them away and she was too tired each night and too busy during the day at Disney that we BROKE THE HABIT!
5. Brooklyn loves sprinklers. Brooklyn had the time of her life in St. George at the splash pad playing in the water with her clothes on. Brooklyn enjoyed carrying around the buckets she found around and filling them up with water. Of course she took after Jake's bad habits and would drink and spit the water which wasn't the best of hygiene but what can you do with such a little fun hearted little girl. I think we must go to more splash pads in our future.
6. Brooklyn loved the beach. Brooklyn was the cutest little beach bum walking around on the beach was is with babies in swimsuits on the beach being so adorable? Brooklyn loved being able to play in the water but especially loved digging in the sand.
7. Brooklyn got her face painted. Brooklyn loved having her face painted. I wasn't originally going to let Brooklyn get her whole face painted but she insisted she wanted the same face painting as Andie. I was honestly surprised with how well she sat still through the WHOLE ENTIRE THING! Brooklyn absolutely loved being able to look like a princess and showed everyone her beautiful face.
8. Brooklyn loves bananas. Brooklyn is obsessed with bananas in any form of course but especially in original or banana bread. I will have to get creative and make banana bread more often or come up with more banana flavored things because this little girl is banana obsessed.
Brooklyn Riley you my girl are such an amazing little girl and make life so exciting. You are so fun to be around and have this loving personality that just radiates from you. I love you so much and your energy is so contagious. Brooklyn you make life so very much enjoyable and I love everything about you, please never change! I love you!
