The morning of June 3rd we had a new adventure ahead of us. Today we had plans to go to California Adventure. If you have little kids I would only advice one day in California Adventure, its more of a teen joint then a baby area.
Breakfast was delicious as usual at the hotel. We took our time that morning after breakfast to shower and get ready for the day. Andie watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while we got ready.
Our first stop in California Adventure was the area you figure out what Disney character you are. I have never done this before and it was so much fun. If you go to California Adventure get this test done! Zachary is Sully from Monsters Inc, I am Cinderella and Andie is Ariel.
We then headed on over to the Monsters Inc Taxi Ride. We are so excited for Monsters University to come out when we get back home. Now that Zachary is like Sully we are even more excited to watch the new movie, June 21st will have to hurry up.
Andie was getting tired and needed a nap. We didn't want to head back to the hotel yet so we walked the pier by the Ferris wheel while Andie slept in the stroller. Hat trying on was in store!
When Andie awoke we wanted to get on some more rides. We headed over to Bugs Land. Bugs Land is pretty much the only spot in California Adventure that babies can ride. I haven't rode any of the rides before so it was a new experience for us all. We even ran into Flik while we were walking around!
After getting sick from the spinning lady bug ride we decided to head back to the hotel for lunch. We were super hot and Coldstone just happens to be right beside our hotel. We stopped for some ice cream and then when back to the hotel for some hot dogs. I have never seen Andie eat a hot dog so fast in my life, she must of been starving! Andie played around in the hotel while Mom and Dad relaxed waiting for it to cool down before we headed back out.
Andie talked to herself in the mirror, I think she is telling us she wants a sibling haha.
We got back to California Adventure just in time to watch the Pixar Parade. Andie danced the whole time and loved the parade, she watched every second.
After the parade we were hot once again, it must be the Canadian in me and the Washington mission in Zach, so we headed inside. We went to Turtle Talk with Crush and drew Perry in Animation Academy. Andie was very wiggle and enjoyed being able to crawl around outside her stroller for a bit.
When we were ready to go face the heat outside again, no by this time it was cool, we headed over to The Little Mermaid ride. Andie has watched The Little Mermaid quite a few times right before we went to Disneyland, it is her favorite right now. She loved the ride and the line was short so we went on quite a few times!
Once we decided we rode The Little Mermaid enough times we slowly started our way across the pier towards the shops. We took our time and enjoyed being out of Utah together as just our little family for the first time! It was so nice :)
We decided during our walk we would spend the rest of our days in Disneyland on this vacation. So we stood in a long line for the Toy Story Mania ride. We timed our wait to get on the ride and it was an hour, that is the longest we had to wait for any ride all 5 days! It was our first time on Toy Story Mania and it was so much fun. I am not very good at the whole aiming so I always lose big time. The high score for the month was 611,000 - Who has that much time?
We were tired and ready for bed once we got off of Toy Story Mania. We slowly walked around the pier and watched World of Colours while heading out of the park and back to our hotel. We had another fun filled day and can't wait to look forward to more family fun :)
