On the second day of our five day passes we went to California Adventure. We mainly rode on the "Monsters Inc" ride and "The Little Mermaid" ride. We would of gone on the "Toy Story" ride more but that line is always way long. It was such a hot day but we tried to enjoy our day through the heat the best we could. Andie was in heaven meeting her hero, Ariel, and all the other princesses. Fantastic day!
We weren't planning on parking at Disneyland but we took an easy (expensive) way out of the shuttle. Loading our kids on to the tiny shuttle our hotel provided and with the cost of it we knew the headache wasn't worth it. When parking at Disneyland make sure you take a picture of where you parked, you will thank yourself later.
The "Little Mermaid" ride of course had to be our first stop in California Adventure. With our little Ariel fan how could it not?
We then went over to Bugs Land to hit all of those rides. In California Adventure there is less rides for your toddlers/baby so keep that in mind. When Andie was a year old we only spent one day in California Adventure, this time we did two since we could go on Ariel ride all day long.
We packed our own lunch again which helps with costs and the sit down in the shade while we ate is quite fun. Audrey and Trent (Zachary's parents) and his cousin Doug with his wife flew in to come to California Adventure with us this day for a princess dinner.
After lunch we had to go over and ride Ariel again, we didn't get pictures of us on basically any other rides besides Ariel.
Dinner time quickly rolled around and we excitedly waited for Andie to see Ariel, she had no idea what was about to happen.
We anxiously stood in line to go down to our seats. I haven't ever been to the princess dinners before but if you have little girls I highly suggest them. Our princess lover was in heaven :)
Andie falling into her heros arms :)
At the dinner it was so fancy and fun for the kids. Jake didn't have as much fun as Andie but he is always such a good sport supporting his sister.
Andie didn't know that other princesses would be arriving. When they announced the princess one by one Andie would jump up and down on her seat, she was SO EXCITED!
After seeing all the princesses she wanted more and more but we told her we would find more princesses later. Andie has never been so happy in her life seeing all those princesses :)
We happened to be in California Adventure for one of the last weeks of the Frozen setup and I was excited for Andie to get to see even more princesses.
After meeting Anna and Elsa we had more time to burn so what else do you do at Disneyland, more rides of course. The Ariel ride may have been rode on a few more times :)
We went over and rode the Ariel Carousel.
When it started to get dark we decided to watch "World of Colors" and sitting down before the show felt so good on the feet. Andie and Jake both loved the show and sitting up on Mom and Dads shoulders.
On the way to the parking lot the fireworks started. Andie and Jake were not much of a fan of the fireworks even from a distance so we decided the fireworks were out and we wouldn't be seeing those this trip.
The nice thing about Disneyland is at the end of the day your toddlers/babies are so tired, bad thing is you are too ;) Its okay its relax day tomorrow!
