Family Vacation : Traveling There

Zachary and I have been looking forward to our vacation for what feels like forever. We were originally going to be leaving back in February/March (since we have a tradition of going for first birthdays) but then with a new job for Zachary we had to push our trip out a bit. Then we were going to leave on April 26th and decided why not leave a few days earlier and stop by to see my sister in Arizona. It ended up being PERFECT!

On Friday April 24th once Zachary got off of work we packed up the van (we took my parents van and an extra person, my little sister) and were off. We drove to St. George and arrived just after midnight. We stayed in a cheap hotel with free breakfast of course :)

On Saturday April 25th we got ready, ate and continued the drive to Arizona. We arrived at Kari's house about noon and my goodness has Nicholas and Hunter grown since September when we saw them last.

I didn't really take to many pictures that day or even the next when we left about noon again to finish the drive to Disneyland. Our time consisted of jumping on the trampoline, touring the house, eating sandwiches, naps, talking, Spiderman Santa hats, watching the pouring rain, coloring, magnetic darts, haircuts and a delicious BBQ.

When we arrived at our hotel on Sunday, April 26th, we of course took the grand tour and unpacked. We got a pretty decent hotel that was extra big for us all, so nice! Jake instantly had to find all the TV remotes and Andie was entertained by the birthday balloons they provided for Jake. We went a picked up a few grocery items for the week and then all fell fast asleep ready for our Disneyland adventure in the morning.
