4 Year Anniversary

Four years I have been married to this guy, and I couldn't of asked for a better guy to spend eternity with! I love my husband and all the memories we have made these past 4 years. I am so excited I get many more years (an eternity) to make memories with him. 

We spent our anniversary doing something small compared to our other three anniversaries. Dinner at LaFrontera (where we had our wedding luncheon) and walking around Halloween stores looking for costumes for the kids. 

It was such a simple date, and celebration, but so much fun :) We are already planning our 5 year now so watch out!!!

Family Sickness

Last weekend the whole family got a sick. For a week we were all sniffles, coughs, pajamas, tylenol, popsicles and chicken noodle soup in our home. It was fun to be able to spend time together as a family but it would of been a million times better if we weren't all fitting a nasty cold. No worries we are all healed up now and back to our happy selves :)

Sixty Years Young

Bentley Aaron Redd

The 3rd nephew for this year has arrived and he is a handsome man.

Bentley Aaron Redd born on September 16th at midnight weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces and 21 inches long was welcomed by his proud parents and excited big sister.

I can't wait to meet and hold this little nephew of mine, come on November :)

Jake 6 Months

Jake Oliver, my little man, is half a year old. I'm so happy but yet so sad, I'm so mixed emotions right now. How is Jake 6 months old already? He is supposed to be my baby :( I am excited to watch him grow and learn all these new things, don't get me wrong, but time needs to slow down a bit! Jake at 6 months old...

1. Jake laughs at movies. Jake is at that stage he smiles and cracks up watching movies during those funny (entertaining) parts. It's so cute just to sit and watch Jake watch TV. Jake is really interested in anything and everything but his favorite is color crew on Netflix, so cute! Jake is a good brother and lets Andie watch all of her princess shows (at least for now until he can talk).

2. Jake sits up in his bouncer. Jake would rather sit then lay down anyway. He is constantly trying to do crunches to pull his head up to a sitting position. Jake can sit for about 15 seconds by himself and it gets longer everyday. He is such a strong little man.

3. Jake has tried lots of baby foods. He loves all of the flavors except peaches (like his Daddy). His favorite I would have to say is Bananas :) Jake is so interested in table food he gets mad whenever we eat around him. Yes he thinks he is older then he is and I wish I could share everything with him. A few more months Bud.

4. Jake hates binkies. He always has hated them but every once in a blue moon you could still make him take one long enough to calm himself down. Nope not anymore! Jake hates binkies. No bad habit to break here!

5. Jake can roll both ways now. Jake could only roll from his back to his stomach and then would get stuck. I know it's backwards compared to most babies but it's just showing how awesome mine really is. I am pretty sure it made him scared to start falling sideways to roll onto his back from his stomach so he would just balance back out and be stuck. Not anymore!

6. Jake dislikes socks, he is constantly pulling them off. No matter how many times you place socks on his feet he will pull them right off. Silly boy!

7. Jake is the cutest baby. Okay this is not something that happened this month, he has always been cute. I have been told I need to enter him into cutest baby contests and that he could be on posters. It's funny to hear that but of course I agree, look at this guy!

8. Jake is 17 pounds 4 ounces (50% for weight and head) and 28 inches tall (90% for height). I have an average tall baby :) Jake is drinking about 8 ounces every 4 hours with some feedings being replaced by baby food. Jake is in size 2 diapers and wearing size 6-12 month clothes. He could still fit into 3-6 month but we handed them over to his cousin Hunter. I have a fast growing little man!

Jake is such a fast moving little boy. He thinks he is older then he is and is constantly on the move. Holding Jake is no easy task, with his constant wiggles. I'm in trouble when he starts walking :) I love you Jake Oliver and only want the best for you, your my amazing boy!
