January Family Day

Last weekend Zachary and I sat down and planned out our Saturday's for the next year. Yes we have legit plans every week to go out and have some fun, family days, temple dates and a date night. We love having Saturdays together :)

We started our Saturday plans in February so we just made up something fun to do as a family for this last weekend in January. I think it was a success.

We started out going to Distribution Center. We are going to start up Family Home Evenings, but on Sunday evenings since that is what will work with our schedule. We picked up a few manuals and some Christ pictures.

We were starving and went straight to Chuck-a-Rama. Andie and Jake were both well behaved and we stuffed our faces (not a good idea when your supposed to be losing weight, but let's be honest I haven't had the motivation recently).

The kids were tired after eating and fell asleep in the car. We didn't want to wake them from their naps, so instead we decided to go look at houses. We do this often when we go on drives as a family. We drive around, staying in the car, and look at houses. Can you tell we are really excited to get one someday.

When the kids woke up we decided we would walk around IKEA. When we parked we had to go in the new RC Willey store right by it too. RC Willey is pretty massive but the furniture is so expensive. We had an employee following us around everywhere. Do we look like we are going to steal something or even worse buy something? Silly person we have no money but also aren't the stealing type.

After our fun we had to get a little more serious. Mom needs new work pants and groceries must be bought to fill our stomachs for the next week. We still had so much fun walking around target, old navy and walmart.

I love my little family and can tell our Saturday's just got a million times better!
