Usually each Christmas Eve we spend time at my parents house eating dinner with extended family and this year was no different. Great food with fantastic company! After dinner I snuck away to play Santa Clause a bit and then when night time rolled around we went as a family over to Moms work.
I had to go and see if there was any night studies at one of the hospitals and the kids enjoyed the little field trip. After we found out there was no studies, YES, we found a target that was open and decided why not walk around before heading home to extend our outing.
Once back home we were excited to open our traditional Christmas Eve presents. The kids were ecstatic! Andie knew we would get pajamas because she is old enough to start remembering our traditions. One of the things Andie kept asking for was a light up Poppy and she got just that and her facial expressions are the cutest thing ever! Jake was in heaven just unwrapping as many presents as he could and loved them all especially all his McQueens. Brooklyn fell in love with her Elsa blanket immediately. Christmas is so magical with kids! I can't wait until tomorrow morning ahhhh.
