Jake 3 Years 5 Months

Jake my boy haven't I told you a thousand times to stop growing up so quickly. My little boy is going to be four in a blink of an eye. Jake is 3 years 5 months...

1. Jake is a YouTube fan. Jake has been loving watching other Family vloggers, especially those who go on playgrounds and he will watch those kids play. He is almost making me think about starting a vlogging channel but I guess time will tell ;) Til then we will have fun watching kid vloggers explore these play areas.

2. Jake loves our new couch. Jake is one that likes to "rest". Don't let this fool you because remember Jake is my crazy, high energy little bunny and is on the go almost always but how could you not love to rest on our giant couch now. Jake is loving everything about it!

3. Jake loves the bounce houses. Jake last time we went to "Jump around Utah" was not to much of a fan of them unless Daddy help him basically the whole time. Now Jake was all over the building and LOVING it. This little boy was building up a sweat with how much energy he was getting out. We must go back soon.

4. Jake loves McDonald's. Is it sad that my three year old perfect little boy is obsessed with McDonald's? No it's not like that but it was so funny when Mom came home from work one day and Jake run up towards me super excited. He stopped right before getting to me to give me a big hug and stated, "Mommmm, what no food?". It was the funniest thing ever. Poor kid then told me he needed McDonald's haha.

5. Jake loves to do flips. Jake has this fascination with doing somersaults and it is the cutest little thing ever. Jake will flip all around and is even dangerous sometimes and will do it will a giant ball on a couch. Silly Jake can do better somersaults then I ever could.

6. Jake loves to help cook. Jake has been loving helping Mom and Dad cook food at times. We haven't been making much food now since we are in the basement of Grandparents houses and don't have our own kitchen. We have been slacking on the having Jake help us cook and been trying to focus more on it. Jake is loving cooking with us.

7. Jake like spiderman. Jake started to love spiderman the same time as Andie and of course I think it is thanks to YouTube having spiderman in his McQueen videos. We have let them watch the spiderman movies even if we were waiting until they were a bit older and they love them. It will probably be the family favorite superhero for a long time coming.

8. Jake loves to go on rides. Jake has always loved going on car rides with Mom and Dad but lately has been loving them even more. Jake will always ask us to go on car rides and lots of the time we don't have places to go but will still just drive around while Jake and the siblings watch a movie and Mom and Dad check out houses dreaming of the future. Car rides are the best!

Jake Oliver you my boy are the best thing ever. You are the cutest little boy and I would not be complete without you by my side to watch grow each and everyday. Jake you are my energy, you make me smile and honestly make each day worth waking up for. I love you my boy, always and forever!

Brooklyn 1 Year 9 Months

Brooklyn, baby girl, you are closer to two years old each and every month and your Mom is having anxiety about it. Brooklyn I love your sweet smile, contagious laugh and of course your fun personality. You have your whole family wrapped around your tiny little finger, we love you so much. Brooklyn at 1 year 9 months...

1. Brooklyn discovered spinning in circles. Brooklyn has this fascination with spinning in circles and seeing how dizzy she can get maybe, I am not really sure but I do know that she loves spinning. Brooklyn is so silly.

2. Brooklyn loves singing Daddy finger. Brooklyn of course is really into singing but Daddy finger is a favorite, is this really what it is called? Brooklyn uses anything she possibly can fit on her little fingers and then sings the song and it is the cutest little thing. I love my little girl!

3. Brooklyn got her nails painted. I have been failing with the fact of having much one on one time with Brooklyn with her older siblings around, with three its hard to do that. I did get a chance to paint Brooklyn's nails for the first time and Brooklyn felt like a perfect princess, she is one and deserves to feel that way.

4. Brooklyn is hesitant to try new things. Brooklyn is my child that is very hesitant to try anything (except food like Jake is) and one of the examples from this past month was when we went to the bounce houses. Brooklyn wouldn't even go near the bounce houses but as soon as a little force for the initial start was done then Brooklyn had the time of her life. This is how it is with a lot of things with Brooklyn she is hesitant to try but then loves it all, little does she know this is exactly like her mother!

5. Brooklyn loves Elsa. Brooklyn has been Elsa's biggest fan just as stated in months past. This month on YouTube she found an Elsa Disney ride and of course Elsa Disney on Ice so she is in heaven watching all her Elsa channels. Elsa birthday will be coming up.

6. Brooklyn loves Puppies and Babies. Brooklyn has a few obsessions in her almost two year old self.  Of course Elsa is number one like always but puppies and babies are a close second. It's so cute to watch Brooklyn with her puppy collection or her babies being pushed around in her stroller. Brooklyn I love your little obsessions!

7. Brooklyn loves her Binky. Do you know how hard it is to take away a binky from a little girl who half the time your not even putting her to bed because your working? Brooklyn still is using a binky and you know what that is okay. If one is needed for bed then we will continue to work on it.

Brooklyn my girl you are the cutest little fun loving girl. You love strong and know what you want. You have a drive to live life each day to the fullest. I love you my princess, Brooklyn Riley.

Andie 5 Years 2 Months

Andie my girl you are growing up so quickly. When I think of your life thus far and realize I have less then three of those left and you will be all grown up it honestly places me into a panic. Andie Noelle you have so much in life to offer and I am so happy I get to be by you every step of the way. Andie at 5 years 2 months...

1. Andie loves singing/dancing. Andie has been loving dressing up in her princess dresses and putting on shows. We have complete stuffed animal or barbie audiences, YouTube music videos and of course lots of cheering. Andie is the little rockstar (this is what she wants to be when she grows up, a rockstar).

2. Andie loves having her own desk. Andie has been needing a place to do her crafts, school homework (when that comes) and just a little place of her own. I wanted to get her a little desk for her birthday but we were so tight on money it was a bit delayed. Andie picked out her desk and chair and it was the cutest thing ever. Andie has loved playing Daddy's laptop on her desk and she is turning into a little gamer haha.

3. Andie had her darn bump fixed again. Andie has had that stubborn wart that was fixed a year ago on her finger and guess what it is still there. So we did another liquid procedure on her finger in hopes that it would go away after the blister went away. Fingers crossed.

4. Andie likes Cruz. When we watched Cars 3 Andie really enjoyed the Jake obsession for once because of the new Cruz girl character. Andie really loved the show and decided her next birthday would need to be a Cruz birthday.

5. Andie had her first concussion (we presume). We went to a bounce house place and Andie has been begging to go to it for forever. Half way through our stay there she came out of one of the bounce houses and was off the rest of the day. She was so mopey and kept saying her head hurt. I was so worried about her but didn't know what to do. Poor girl!

6. Andie loves skirts. Andie would wear a skirt all day every day if I would let her. Andie is my little girly girl and has been since day one, I love my princess.

7. Andie loves smurfs. We got the movie "Smurfs and the Lost Village" and Andie loves the girl Smurf. When we watched the movie for the first time of course Mom was a ball of tears when it came to Smurfette dying and Andie sat quietly. When the movie ended she walks over to me and gives me a big hug and then stated when the girl smurf died she had one tear roll down her cheek. Can you believe it? My little girl cried in his first movie, my Mom heart basically burst out of my chest.

8. Andie loves Spider-Man. The kids have gotten into a kick with Spiderman lately which is crazy because we don't watch a lot of non animated Disney movies since they are so young. On YouTube with McQueen or Elsa (your siblings favorites) then sometimes Spiderman pops up and I am pretty sure this is where the obsession began. Spiderman is Mom and Dad's favorite too so how awesome is that!

Andie Noelle my beautiful five year old princess, I love you so much! You bring so much joy to me each and every day. You truly have changed my life for the best the moment I found out your Daddy and I were expecting. We have loved you from the beginning and will love you FOREVER and ALWAYS!

School Updates

We have two starting up school again this fall. Zachary is starting up his Radiology Tech program along with his clinical and Andie is starting up Kindergarten.

Zachary has had to go to so many different clinical orientations and school orientations that it has been a busy schedule. This has been preparing us for the fall schedule coming up. Zachary so far is liking the program and all he is learning, if anything he is just more excited to be able to do this the rest of his life. Bring it!

Andie registered for Kindergarten. I thought for sure we would get some information on who Andie's teacher was or when school would start but we got NOTHING! Do you know how much this drives an OCD person crazy when you are given no information to plan your life but you know you have to but yet you can't? Yeah I am super stressed.

Andie did get a cute new backpack from registration and we hope to hear as soon as possible from the school with more information of days, times, teachers, friends, anything....gah!

Sleep Tech

Lots of changes have been happening in the Wadsworth home and one of them was when Mom decided to switch job roles in her work department. When Zach got accepted into the Radiology program we needed to figure out babysitting for the kiddos and my day job of 5 days a week just wasn't going to work.

I loved my job as a front desk receptionist, don't get me wrong, it's my dream to organize papers (Yes I am nerdy like that). I love it! BUT sadly my love for what I was doing had to be placed on a scale on what was best for my family at this time. With that I decided I couldn't be selfish and I had to let go.

I am still with the sleep center, which I enjoy, but I am now working nights and performing the sleep studies on patients. It's interesting as I learn how to read the different stages of sleep in the brain waves and how to adjust CPAP machines plus everything else associated with the job. It's been fun and challenging all at the same time, plus don't forget the sleep deprived portion of it all.

I went through two weeks of training during the day and some night shifts to watch patients get hooked up but now I have been going strong at nights and feel somewhat comfortable maybe (I have to try and convince myself haha).

July 24th 2017

Since we were a bit lame for July 4th this year we wanted to at least do something with the kids for the 24th. They have been asking to go to the bouncy playground since Andie turned 4 years old I swear and so we did just that.

The kids had so much fun running around and burning off energy. It took Brooklyn sometime to get used to the idea of the unstable foundation of the bounce houses but with some time she was all over them too and loving it.

We are pretty sure Andie suffered a concussion because she went through of the bounce houses and came out acting different saying her head hurt. She then was miserable and laid on the ground instead of playing around in her dream play area the rest of the time.

We then went out and ate as a family. Andie was miserable for that too and I felt horrible that we didn't realize that she could of had a concussion until we got home. I was so worried about her all day long though and kept asking Zach if we should take her to the doctor. I of course am a very worried mother.

We had overall a very good day and the kids really did enjoy there time!
