For Family Home Evening we went to Temple Square to show Andie and Jake the big statue of Christ. It was right after Disneyland so Andie was still on a princess high, sorry all the brides who she thought were princesses. Andie wanted all the brides in the white dresses to sign an autograph book and go and hug them, I don't think they would of appreciated my random toddler going and hugging them in their clean white dress :)
Andie and Jake were both scared of the Christ statue so I guess that means we need to take them back more often. It was such a good lesson to let Andie know that Christ isn't actually a scary guy and he loves everyone, turned into our favor!
It was so fun to play in the water with the kids and feel the spirit just walking around the square. If you live near Salt Lake take a family home evening to go and learn more of our beautiful temple by going to the temple :)
