Brooklyn 2 Months

Brooklyn Riley is already two months old, can you believe it? Time with Brooklyn seems to be flying by. If I blink anymore Brooklyn will soon be walking and talking, NO! Brooklyn my princess is so cute and already has such a big personality for her tiny little body. At 2 months old Brooklyn is...

1. Brooklyn has THE BEST facial expressions. I have never met a little two month old who has so much personality just in her face. Brooklyn is constantly making facial expressions, lifting her eyebrows or melting your heart with her big bug eyes.

2. Brooklyn celebrated her first Christmas. Of course Brooklyn won't be able to really remember this Christmas with her only being just over a month old but next Christmas should be a little more fun. Brooklyn was still completely spoiled this year :)

3. Brooklyn had a stuffy nose. I am so paranoid that Brooklyn is going to catch some nasty winter bug but so far we are going strong. Brooklyn sounded a little stuffed up and like it was almost getting in her lungs but the nose frida saved us.

4. Brooklyn loves soft music. I think with being the third child Brooklyn has realized around the Wadsworth home there is never any silence. Brooklyn loves to have background noise as long as it is some soft music playing. So cute! If the music has a little beat to it this girl knows how to bring a head bob on. Her siblings love when Brooklyn head bob all the time!

5. Brooklyns belly button was still acting up. Brooklyns belly button still has a tiny piece of the cord in it which we are worried will start being infected. What she has is called an umbilical granuloma. Brooklyn has had multiple procedures done on her belly button to try and dry up the remaining cord and have it fall off. It took 4 treatments of silver nitrate before it somewhat started to work. What a stubborn belly button.

6. Brooklyn at 6 weeks old weighed 9lbs 12oz and at her 2 month appointment just a couple weeks later weighed 10lbs and 10oz. My this little girl is not having any problems in the growing department. Brooklyn is 22 3/4 inches tall and still in newborn clothes and diapers.

7. Brooklyn loves light, or scared of the dark. Unless Brooklyn is sound asleep she needs a bit of light on or she will freak out. Brooklyn is sleeping about 7 hours straight at night waking for a bottle and then sleeping more. Brooklyn is also awake more during the day which makes it so much fun for us all!

8. Brooklyn hiccups after eating. After every bottle Brooklyn has a few minutes of the hiccups, it's the cutest thing :)

9. Brooklyn was blessed. Daddy gave Brooklyn her baby blessing and she did so good even if it was her feeding time. It was so cute to see our princess in her first white dress!

Brooklyn Riley you have completed our family, you have changed our lives and we couldn't imagine life without you! Brooklyn is our little princess with her gorgeous big bug eyes down to her cute little feet. I love you Brooklyn, my girl, forever!
