Temple Openhouse

Ever since the Provo City Center Temple was announced I have been so excited to be able to walk through as a family. I love the opportunity to be able to take my kids to the temple with me. Andie was SO EXCITED to be able to go to one of Jesus's castles. Jake and Brooklyn were still kind of clueless on what was happening.

I called everyday for just over a week trying to get tickets for a Saturday, what a pain. I finally succeeded in my quest though and January 23rd we drove down to Provo. When we arrived to the temple it was actually a very slow time. We were in front of the line before we knew it.

We went into the room to watch the introductory movie about the importance of our temples and put on our white shoe covers. Of course Andie had to use the potty so we snuck out for a minute. The only bathrooms available were the porta potties. Andie now believes that Temples have the grossest bathrooms EVER haha. We met back up with Daddy right when the movie ended, perfect timing!

The temple is such a gorgeous temple. We loved walking through it and seeing such beautiful designs through the whole building. Andie, Jake and Brooklyn did so good with being quit even if all the chairs had to be tested out.

It is always such a neat opportunity to be able to walk through our temples before they are dedicated. What a blessing temples are here on this earth. We love to see the temple!
