Jake 1 Year 6 Months

Jake Oliver is another month older and wiser too, a year and a half. My how Jake has changed in the last little while as his personality really shows through. Jake is such a fun loving crazy kid, and at 18 months he is...

1. Jake is officially in nursery. I am so excited to get him settled in nursery and hopefully be able to listen to the lessons in church until Brooklyn comes along. Jake loves nursery as there is toys and treats in there, what else does a little boy need?

2. Jake loves the steps in the kitchen. We got some steps so Andie could help us cook without being on the cupboard. Jake is loving the steps just as much, as he loves to be the big helper too.

3. Jake loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates, no surprise. What little kid wouldn't love a show where your name is the main character, that would be a dream come true for me! Jake calls this show Jake and his own name Jakey. It's super cute!

4. Jake loves slides. My kids and playgrounds, they love them. Jake really loves the slide. I am so glad Walmart had one on sale so Mom can watch Jake have fun climbing up the slide right from home. My goodness the energy my boy needs to burn off daily, I love my energy bunny.

5. Jake is a little talker and repeater in all his words. "Let go", "Yeah", "Watch", "Andie" and "Juice" are the most popular in his vocabulary. Jake understands short commands too which is making it a little easier in the communication department as Jake is understood more by everyone. I live that my little man is talking to us :)

6. Jake loves his shoes. Remember when he hated them? I do but it's a complete 180. Once shoes are on little mans feet and a coat on him we must leave right this minute. Jake doesn't have much patience when he knows adventures are about to happen. It's cute to watch Jake as he patiently stands by the door (the best you can) and want to leave as soon as the shoes are velcro on.

7. Jake loves he dinosaur playground. Thank you city creek mall for having such a baby/toddler friendly playground. Jake you live to be adventurous and this playground only gives your mother a little anxiety as she watches you play own your own instead of a full on heart attack like other playgrounds.

Jake you are so brave and adventurous. You have no fear when it comes to exploring the world and doing things on your own. You always have your smile and contagious laugh with the cheesy grin that you know your getting into mischief with. I love everything about you little boy, you are so perfect in the eyes of your parents. Never forget of the love we have for you as you grow into the amazing young man that you are!
