This year for Valentines was so special. Zachary and I were able to go to The Roof restaurant and then out shopping for Jake's birthday gifts. Doesn't sound very fun but it was a SUPER BLAST for us! We of course celebrated on Saturday with the 14th being a Sunday this year.
Before we went on our date Andie and Jake each got a bag of chocolate with some gummy candies plus a stuffed animal from Mom and Dad, Brooklyn got a stuffed animal too. They all loved their stuffed animals!
We didn't get really into the holiday with decorations or baking little treats but maybe next year that will improve. We did get a chance to play a bit of school time and Andie helped me make some Valentines. We didn't know what to do with them all though so my coworkers turned into the guinea pigs and got little super hero suckers. It is so fun to be able to celebrate all holidays with my kids and husband. Happy Valentines Day!
