Andie 1 Year 6 Months

18 months! 1 year 6 months! There is not a way to make this not feel so old. Andie is growing in leaps and bounds. Everyday she is learning something new and making me so proud to be her mom. I never looked at an 18 month and realized how smart they really are, it's amazing. At 1 year 6 months Andie is...

1. Andie is constantly singing. Andie has always had a love for music like her parents but this past month she has started to sing to songs on the radio. I assume she had to learn car singing from someone sometime, so why not her mom. We will have the radio on and the whole time Andie is babbling away in the backseat singing the songs. I love her!

2. Andie has been sick and teething again this month with temps as high as 102. I was correct about her teething! 15 teeth are starting to all poke through her gums with a few more bumps ready to come in. She has a full set of teeth, how did that happen?

3. Andie has 12 cousins so far ranging from 9 to 1. It's so fun to have all these cousins that she can play with. In July 2014 she will be adding 2 more friends to her cousin list. We are so excited to meet the new additions!

4. Andie loves to dress up. We are constantly changing her from one set of clothing to the next. Andie knows where all her clothes are put away. Throughout the day she brings us out different clothes to change in to. Pajamas, shirts, coats, Dads ties, skirts and shoes. Nothing stands in this girls way from getting dressed up!

5. Andie loves going to Grandma Redds house and Aunt Kari's. I have the best family who have stepped up and watched Andie for me while I have been working. Andie almost doesn't even phase when I leave her when I go to work, this makes it so much easier for me! I love picking her up from being babysat as she shows me the new toys she has been playing with that day and babbles and tells me all about her day. Andie is such a little talker :)

6. Andie has learned how to say Thank You. It's so cute listening for those sweet words to come out of her mouth. She is still learning the concept of when she gives me something that she doesn't say thank you but I do. We are getting it straightened out. I have one polite happy girl! Andie says Thank you, Ta-daa, Eat, Mom, Dad, Andie, Hi, Hello, Bye, Yes, No, Ariel, Baby, Ouch and so much more!

7. Andie is getting better at using utensils. She can use them but still makes quite a big mess while eating. I should let her try more with a cup but I just hesitate because of the aftermath. I know I should just let her go crazy. Our goal this next month is to get better at using a regular cup like she has with her utensils. We haven't had any forks for her so we finally bought her some small ones. She loves them!

8. Andie celebrated Thanksgiving again this past month for the States. I loved having her wear her turkey shirt to each dinner we were invited too. Her favorite food this Thanksgiving was the pies and jello or marshmallow salads. I would say she has a bit of a sweet tooth ;) It's fun watching Andie at each family get together have no fear and go out and have fun. Andie has such an outgoing personality.

Andie is such a bundle of joy to raise. She never allows for a day to be boring. Andie always has me laughing and smiling, there is no break with her. I love being Andies mom! Each day is such a special blessing to be able to raise her. I love her little life and have such big plans for her future. I definitely have an amazing spirit on my hands :)
