Disneyland Vacation: Day 8

Our very last day in California Adventure, so sad. It is always so fun to leave one park knowing it is the last you will be there until who knows when. We were beat and decided next time we should do a break between each day after our break day haha.

In the park we spent a lot of time in Bugs Land going on all the rides we hadn't been on. We then made our way towards the adventuring Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. We haven't been in this area before because of the kids being so little in the past and that was silly. Andie, Jake and Brooklyn loved running around on the trails, slides and nets.

We made our way towards the Pier after, hitting up the carousel. We met Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Last year we had Jessie too but we will take any characters we can get, the meet and greets with kids are such a special experience for all!

Andie wanted to be a bit adventurous again and try something new, so we went on the Jumping Jellyfish taking turns with Mom and Dad. It was so fun, I enjoy those rides. We also used our FastPass to go to Toy Story Mania, all the kids loved it especially Jake.

We then made our way towards Cars Land for the rest of the evening. We rode on Andie and Jakes favorite, Mators Jamboree and even meet McQueen and Mator again. We looked at the store displays of a miniature Radiator Springs and how cool would that be to have as a little McQueen loving boy.

When night time finally came we gave Jake his "tall" shoes to bump him up an inch (oops) to make him just tall enough to ride the Lightning McQueen ride he has been dreaming about since forever. Andie and Jake weren't expecting how fast it would go and Jake said that he "flied" because he kept coming out of his seat haha. Jake was so ECSTATIC to go on the ride once with Dad (blue car, back row) and then once with Mom (red McQueen car in the front row). It was epic. I wish I got a picture but the long lines made me miss it!

On our way out of the park we were sad but yet so happy that Jake got to live his toddler loving McQueen dream, it was the best! We got Jake a little extra souvenir of the Radiator Springs ride so he can always remember this night. It really was fantastic :)
