Thanksgiving, did it roll up on anyone else so quickly? The holidays are coming up so quickly/are here and the spirit is just not here. It is such a WEIRD year. Where is all the holiday spirit this year? I have been wanting to create more of a traditional holidays especially Thanksgiving so this year we started some and I am sure each year will be better and better.
We had a family dinner complete with store bought everything, maybe we will learn how to make things from scratch one day but yet again who wants to spend their whole Thanksgiving cooking? I guess I have to take some thought into it, the food was delicious nonetheless.
One of the traditions we do do though is Black Friday shopping, yes we are those people but you should be too. We go mostly just to look at the big range of pajama picks, you can never have enough pajamas. The second most reason is just to people watch, so much fun!
Thanksgiving was such a good family time and the start of great traditions. We look forward to more Thanksgiving traditions ahead and I think Mom has finally realized how great her birthday is to always have family time right around it, PERFECT!
