Morning of June 8th was a sad morning, our last day in Disneyland for who knows how long. We are probably planning on going on a cruise and Disneyworld before we come back to Disneyland again. We forgot to take many pictures today because we were just enjoying our day! Breakfast was heavenly as usual. I am bummed it was our last breakfast at the hotel. Andie ate leftover cake!
Andie was so tired and so we didn't leave the hotel until 2 in the afternoon. She slept for so long that morning, but it gave Zach and I some time together to talk about our future (we like to do this a lot).
We anxiously headed into Disneyland for our last day. We took the train over to Winnie the Pooh ride. We acted like it was just another time just getting off the ride walking through the Winnie shop right outside the exit and Andie figured nothing from it. We bought her the souvenir for this trip, Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal. She loves it and sleeps with it in her crib every night! We each get one souvenir each vacation we take, usually we get it on the last day so today is souvenir day :)
After we bought Andies stuffed animal we want to head towards the Jungle cruise. We have spent 4 days in Disneyland but haven't gone on the Jungle cruise so we had to make it on there today, it was our plan for the day :) Andie loved being able to be on the boat!
Zachary and I wanted to go on Astro Blasters when we got off our cruise so we headed that way when there was a parade going on so the line was pretty much a walk on. It was so nice to be able to walk on something besides the Winnie the Pooh ride. We had fun trying to beat each other. Once again I found the winning target, Zach was so confused how I caught up to him so fast and passed with flying colours haha love it! I won 214400 to 123600.
Zachary and I were getting anxious for us to get our souvenirs so we headed to downtown Disney. We made sure the souvenirs we wanted were in Downtown Disney when we were there last. Zachary and I are both sweater fans but hate the heat, makes since right! We got our sweaters and then went to the hotel to drop off all our souvenirs :)
After dropping off our souvenirs at the hotel we started our walk back to Disneyland. We took our time enjoying our vacation before it ended. We saw a Mcdonalds, which we never crave, we decided what the heck lets go get some burgers!
I love my little family, I have the best husband and little girl! We headed back to Disneyland for real this time and took our time walking through Fantasyland. We were heading back to Andies favorite ride, yes even more then Winnie the Pooh :)
Walking into the line for its a small world was kind of a bitter sweet moment. Andie loves this ride and I don't know when we will ever see her giggle so much on it again. When we come back next time to Disneyland she will be taller and we can go on bigger rides, she will probably never think of its the small world the same as she has these past 2 times going to Disneyland.
We haven't decided is Andie is saying this is the number one ride or she is one year old :)
Right after the last picture was taken my back went out, yes fun! My back hurt for a few days after returning home from vacation. I am looking at the positive though and happy my back went out after we went on our last ride instead of during our week! We went and stacked out a spot to watch Fireworks at. We got a pretty good spot right in front of the castle, we loved the show but I totally wanted to pop the balloon in front of us! Andie loves fireworks and is not scared of them at all, she claps and giggles the whole time :)
Dumbo is flying!
How cool is this picture I took, can you see the not so hidden Mickey?
After the show we slowly made our way out of the park, we walked through shops delaying the fact that our vacation was over and we would have to be up and out of our hotel to meet our shuttle at 4 in the morning. Disneyland was so much fun and our family vacation was amazing! We made it out of the hotel and back to the hotel by midnight exhausted and ready for our couple hours of sleep.
