For our family days in June I decided to take advantage of the free events around us. On June 22nd we went to the West Fest fireworks. We had originally planned on going to the free booths to walk around in like we do every year. Its fun to get all there little things they hand out for free and especially for kids, they love it!
We had laundry to do and grocery shopping was needed so we didn't make it out to the booths this year. Once all the chores were done we were starving and Zachary really wanted some ribs so we headed out and ate at Applebees. This is like a first time for us eating there! It was pretty delicious and Andie enjoyed her fries and onion rings.
After dinner we got in the car and drove out to Provo. Our niece Jessie was in a dance recital that we had the privilege of making it out to see her in. She dances so good and you can tell she really loves it.
After the dance we went out with Zachary's sister and family to Olive Garden. Zachary and I of course didn't eat anything we were way to full from our family dinner. It was fun to be able to talk to Brooke and catch up on each others lives. Our schedules have been hectic with all the family events lately on my side we haven't made it out to see Zachary's family much.
After everyone finished there meals we said our goodbyes and hurried back to the valley. I called up my sister Melissa to come and join us in watching the fireworks in West Valley. It was so crowded in West Valley but we found amazing seats for only being there 10 minutes before the show started. Andie did so well and loved the fireworks. She clapped and laughed and said "Ow and Aw". I love my little girl she is so funny! The fireworks were fantastic and we can't wait for next week to go to Taylorsville days :)
